I think she'll like that part, mostly because she liked the "Addams vs normal world" stuff in the first movie. I'm not going to blame her for tearing into the main plot, because she should.

Looking for some stories?Sursum Ursa discusses Phantom of the Opera, in song!

I liked the main plot better than the first film's, mostly because, unlike the first movie's plot, this one was actually funny. I mean, come on, at the climax the main villain sets up a slideshow to explain her motivation, and the family is absolutely sympathetic to her incredibly petty reasons for killing people.
That was really impressive, Ursa had already sung in her Les Miserables review, but this one clearly involved a lot more work.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you. That plus Joan Cusack as Debbie is a really hilarious and inspired character. I had completely forgotten Dan Hedaya was even in the earlier film. And who was the woman again? The first film had its moments (all character-driven) but the second one was a lot more consistent, with better writing with regards to things like plot and suchlike.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!Quibble: the rest of the family suffered in putting the spotlight on Wednesday/Fester. Gomez and Morticia were written in broad strokes, and frankly, I prefer more scenes of them to Fester getting a handjob.
Special mention to Mercedes McNab in both movies. She's like a female Billy Zabka.

I'm a skeptical squirrelIf you guys watched the TGWTG charity drive you already know this, nonetheless, Lindsay and Nella announce the the winner for the book cover of Awoken.

I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.Awoken is out, both in paperback edition and e-book. If you are planning on getting the e-book version, they explained on a livestream yesterday that is better if you go through the link on Serra's page, so they can get a bigger cut of the purchase, which granted isn't that big, apparently they're getting $0.06 of each book they sell, and they have to split that in 3 parts, but still, try to buy through Serra's page.
Anyway, among other things, Lindsay made a video about The Mortal Instruments movie and YA adaptations.
Also, she just met Anita Sarkeesian.

I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you. Can't seem to get a Kindle UK edition :(
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.Sorry for double post but Awoken is at Number 2 for Hot New Releases for Young Adults on Amazon now:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/new-releases/digital-text/7006662011/ref=zg_bsnr_nav_kstore_5_6110890011
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.
I really hope this goes viral, quick somebody e-mail io9.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.Watch this book make bank, and then crowdsourcing YA novels becomes the next big thing.
I was under the impression crowdsourcing books were a thing already, shows how much I know about the publishing industry.
I can't have you close, so I become a ghost and I watch you, I watch you.Raaagh, will Wednesday never come?! I wanna read the damn book already!
It's an odd thing to admit, but I don't think the major problems with Twilight really kicked in until the second one. The first one just seemed... like a SI fanfic of a good vampire story, to be honest. I didn't think it was great, but I liked Edward and felt bad he was stuck slumming with Bella acting like a twit thanks to authorial fiat. Same kind of feeling I get when I read late-period Lestat books, y'know?
As such, I expect to enjoy Awoken unironically. ^_^;
A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!I would just like to point out the bizarrely diverse list of stuff where it says "Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed"◊. I'd say that Del Shannon song is the most surprising to me.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Squirrel underpants!
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!I got a bunch of YA novels but also Mamoru Hosoda's Wolf Children Blu-Ray... which is something I am probably going to pick up eventually (don't think it's out in the UK yet) so I found it oddly fitting for me. I suppose it is about a woman falling in love with a supernatural being but it has little to do with him and is more about her relationship with their kids.
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.I do need to wonder why someone would even need that...
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. So, apparently, Lindsay, Elisa, Nella, and the Ellinsen children may accidentally have done too good of a job with the book.

What is this Awoken, and what is Nostalgia Chick's connection to it?
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.Awoken is the book that Team NChick had made with the help of their fans, parodying Twilight by using the Cthulhu mythos.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987More parodying YA novels in general, though Twilight is one of the bigger ones.

I believe there is some footage of Kyle's dramatic reading being processed, I think. Just guessing from this tweet:

So I can't think of anything right now... meh.Said dramatic reading is up. I'm dying.
I cut up one dozen new men and you will die somewhat, again and again.
Well, if anything, she'll at least be positive about Christina Ricci's role as she hinted.
