THE THUNDERSTORM THREAD *CRACK BOOOM*

I'm more glad now that the cable, phones and internet are back in commission.

I know that feeling.

Yup... another thunderstorm in Michigan... What is it? 20 now this past 30 days?

There was a massive thunderstorm early this morning. The thunder and lightning stopped after a while, but it rained for five hours straight.

After no rain for a couple of weeks, it was a relief.

And I'm hearing more thunder. I usually like storms, but we've had so many that I'm getting sick of them.

Weather report promised us thunderstorms for today and the weather has been swelteringly hot for weeks now, and... nothing.

The other day, we had maybe ten minutes of rain and rolling thunder in the distance, but otherwise about fuck all.

I know; my last gf was from Flanders, and while Vlaams and Nederlands have their differences, they also have their fair share of commonalities .

I live in Alaska, and we rarely get Thunderstorms up here. Rarely as in "once every three or so years." It's the whole lacking warm air thing. Imagine my surprise when we got not one, not two, but THREE thunderstorms in two weeks!

They were probably hunting down Sarah Palin .

Wrong state. She gets to torture Arizona now. Also, why does everyone feel the need to bring her up every time Alaska is mentioned? She's a joke; we hate her. End of story.

I'm literally just outside of a tornado warning's predicted path (I could even hear the warning sirens). And just yesterday it was sunny...

We should make a "schnizophrenic Ohio weather" thread at some point.

^ You should come to Colorado. There are times where you can get literally all four seasons in a single day.

Speaking of Colorado, yesterday it pissed heavy ass rain and a lot of it (at least .50 inches which by Colorado standards is pretty good) and it just started pissing heavy rain again right fucking now.

Guys there is a storm and my lights are flickering on and off and I am scared.

No tornado, no reason to be scared.

Guys I once had a thunderstorm wake me up on a morning with the crack of lightning and thunder it was a waking call from the gods themselves it felt awesome
