Poor Image: Diabolical Mastermind

The image for this trope isn't quite great, since the focus is more on the cat than its owner.

In fact, a possible correction could be plainly to switch around the pictures for Right-Hand Cat and this one.

Or, if not satisfying, simply suggest a better Diabolical Mastermind.

We should definitely replace this. We can do better than that.

Switching those would be good since we can't even see the mastermind's face on the Diabolical Mastermind page. Right-Hand Cat has a good picture so that should stay on one of them.

Don't know why but for some reason, I think this pic perfectly encapsulates the concept of the Diabolical Mastermind even though all we see of Blofeld is his damned cat and badass, pinky insignia ring!

P.S.: I don't think having the Diabolical Mastermind's face visible is absolutely crucial. In fact, a common gimmick of the trope/role is for the guy's face to be concealed and/or hidden from view of the audience.

The ring does make him look diabolical and since Diabolical Masterminds are cat people in Right-Hand Cat it would work well for Right-Hand Cat.

I agree, if the focus is on the cat then it is better suited to illustrate Right-Hand Cat. That it's obviously in the arms of Diabolical Mastermind is a plus, but it doesn't illustrate the latter trope.

The above would be nice for Right-Hand Cat, while the Blofeld pic could be moved to Diabolical Mastermind.

I kind of like the page image that's already on Diabolical Mastermind; not being able to see his face looks more sinister. It is a generic DM, rather than a specific example of one. The current on RHC can just be replaced.

I'd prefer to leave the pic on Right-Hand Cat where it is and just use 4 for Diabolical Mastermind.

As that was my original suggestion, I'm all for it as well.

Even though the cat is at the centre of the pic, the focus of the pic is on the guy himself.

It's the ring. It's better than the ones in Superman 64.

Me too, but it looks like we're the only ones. Most people would rather focus on the cat for the mastermind and see the man on the cat's page.

The "faceless villain" is better for that page I think. As it is, it's more generic; if you could see his face it's more of a specific example of a DM.

I don't really like the one where you can see his head◊ at all, actually... kinda goofy-looking expression on the human, not to mention the cat itself is slightly out of focus. The image that used to be on DM◊ is better for Right-Hand Cat I think. Not a big deal though.

Since there hasn't been any caption discussion for this page, I think this is good to lock up. If there's not already a thread for Right-Hand Cat, someone can start one.
