I'm not seeing any distinction here, no.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! This came up in the Trope Description Improvement Drive. I would just dump this article.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt looks like a mystical version of The President's Daughter. Which is a distinction I don't see a reason for making.
Move examples, cut page?
Check out my fanfiction!I agree.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!+1 to move the examples and cut it.
The description looks exactly like The President's Daughter. I support cut and merge.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Cut and merge.
There are only 38 wicks. We could change them all without having to make a redirect.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. As names go The President's Daughter is definitely one of those that I will never respect, because it's named directly after only one version of itself, when the actual definition is cosmetically broader.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Oh, here's the difference: The President's Daughter is always female. Holy Child is not.

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed. It's in the lump of "women and children". Someone innocent who needs protecting.
I'd support a rename of The President's Daughter if that trope had significant misuse.
Check out my fanfiction!IMHO a Holy Child is much more of a "thing" than The President's Daughter. TPD isn't desirable for who they are, but instead used to manipulate the ones responsible over them. HC can go either way — they might actually have powers or value beyond their connections.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.I can see a difference between one being important for what they are and possibly what powers they have, and the other for what connections they have. I don't think the descriptions support that, though.
Check out my fanfiction! There's also that a Holy Child is also frequently a Chosen One of some flavor. No such thing with TPD.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.So Holy Child is basically someone who is sought after because of what they are? Don't we already have a trope for that?
MacGuffin Girl, but only ignoring the "transformation" bit.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat for me looks more like a person that is physically searched, not like a MacGuffin.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSo do we have a consensus to merge/cut?
I do not think we have consensus here, but I can't check as the connection keeps crawling.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI oppose merging this.
Is anyone going to suggest doing something with this page that isn't merging and purging?
Well, for one thing, you may propose something yourself instead of demanding it from us.
I may recommit for keeping this, but I would have to analyze a bit further.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't have a change to propose, but it wasn't me who said this page "Needs Help."
What differentiates this trope from The President's Daughter or Living MacGuffin specifically? From the description alone it basically sounds like a Living MacGuffin except that its a young child. Perhaps this trope should be merged? Or Cut?
