Is there a bigger version of the Bart pic that makes the text on the sash a little bigger? If not, I lean toward the Cartman pic.
Ok, I just want to point out the big HM badge on his... square pants, there's also the badged cap and the walkie-talkie.

While Spongebob is probably a better example, this isn't obvious from the picture so I agree with replacing it.
My vote goes to Bart. Reasons: The sash is yellow (it isn't in the Cartman pic), he's obviously a hall monitor and he's obviously abusing his power.

Just so we are clear, the trope isn't about the sash's colour, and being literal about that runs the risk that other equally acceptable colours won't be added as examples - Tropes Are Not Narrow.

Those are the ideal choices, and in a crowner where we've got a lot of options it won't hurt to limit the IL page to just those. In a case such as this where there's not many options, it won't hurt to have some that are in the red on the IL page. I don't like having IL pages with only one or two links, and that factors into it as well.

Seems like this picture was added three days ago by m8e. Spongebob looks like he's just had an orgasm and very little about this picture suggests "Hall monitor".
How about something that clearly identifies the character as a hall monitor, while actually in the halls.
