@lucky: Gogogos could work as a generic Rank 4 fodder thing. Alternatively, a pseudo-burn deck could help whittle down the LP if they feel like negating. Maybe Gogogo + Simochi deck?

[up][up]I actually really like using Crystal Beasts, I just don't wanna use it in two RP's. I'm happy to hear you think I've been doing well with them though, I keep getting destroyed in Dev Pro.

... No, you know what, I think I've got my Flame Tiger + Chain Dog strategy worked out. I'm actually looking forward to this deck.

Quick question, can I use Skill Drain? I don't actually need it in my deck, but I think it could be handy and I think it would fit in well.

I don't really care and I'm just asking out of curiosity, but is anyone using synchro monsters? It doesn't really seem in the spirit of an XYZ RP.

Sorry for not answering questions for a wile, some stuff came up that needed handling.

Up to you guys how you take the number after winning (but no soul steling)

Whatever you think will work lucky, it it gets to be a real problem I will give you another number if needs be.

Personally I'm fine with synchros as long s they fit the deck (plus they get a nice support card in judgment of the light that I'd like to see used at some point.

Philosopher stone, excepted

As for Skill Drain. Hmmm I don't know. That card pretty much kills my deck. I'd like other people's opinions though.

As for your Devpro problems, you're runnin' a Rainbow Dragon build?

Sorry forgot the drain, personally I'd rather not have cards that just aren't fun to play against in this (skill drain, gozen ect)

  • Name: Dan "Crazy Master" Dalka
  • Age: 22-ish
  • Gender: Male
  • Duel Disk: He summons it similar to how Nistro and Dextra summoned their disks in their first appearance. It is a shiny black, shaped in a way that is reminiscent of an over-sized ear of corn. His D-Gazer Tatoo is black, with pointed oval shapes on the edges.
  • Appearance: He wears a T-shirt, pants, and overcoat, all in a variety of bright colors that clash horribly. He projects an air of confidence, and generally acts about as loud as his outfit would suggest, with very little subtlety involved in his actions. When he wants something, or wants to get something done, he will get it done, and in the most direct way possible. He has a 50 (as per standard Number possession) on his hand. He doesn't hide it.
  • History: Believe it or not, Dan is actually a monk (of sorts). He spent time in a remote monastary, learning meditation and other such things, before realizing that it's actually very diull in such a place, and leaving. When he came into possession of Number 50 (in a squence of events involving a bar-fight across 3 buildings, at least one mugging, a police raid on a brothel on the other side of the city, and more pizza than the one restaurant could possibly have had on hand), he discovered that he could gain a measure of control over the Number, and more-or-less remain in control of himself by bonding a portion of his psyche with the Number. While this worked, it also made his extreme eccentricity evolve into borderline crazy, and gave him a taste for more Numbers (Blackship is mostly reponsible for this, but he doesn't see any reason to try to fight it on this point).
  • Number: Number 50: Blackship of Corn
  • Deck:
    • Monsters: (Total: 21)
      • Heroic Challenger - Swordshield x3
      • Heroic Challenger - Double Lance x3
      • Heroic Challenger - Extra Sword x3
      • Heroic Challenger - Spartan x2
      • Goblindbergh x3
      • Gagaga Gardna x3
      • Necro Gardna x1
      • Summoner Monk x2
      • Silver Sentinel x2
    • Spells: (Total: 15)
      • Reinforcement of the Army x1
      • The Warrior Returning Alive x1
      • Heavy Storm x1
      • Dark Hole x1
      • Mystical Space Typhoon x1
      • Monster Reborn x1
      • Shrink x2
      • Xyz Revenge x1
      • Xyz Unit x3
      • Heroic Chance x1
      • Generation Force x1
      • Xyz Reception x1
    • Traps: (Total: 8)
      • Xyz Reborn x2
      • Xyz Soul x1
      • Solemn Judgement x1
      • Copy Knight x1
      • Xyz Reflect x3
    • Extra Deck: (Total: 11)
      • Number 50: Blackship of Corn x1
      • Heroic Champion - Excalibur x2
      • Heroic Champion - Gandiva x2
      • Heroic Champion - Kusanagi x2
      • Blade Armor Ninja x1
      • Gagaga Cowboy x1
      • One-Eyed Skill Gainer x1
      • Zubaba General x1
    • Grand Total: 56
  • Other: When he steals a number, it involves Blackship effectively eating said Number (then actually taking the card off of the other person, since that just pacifies it, kinda). Also, his Disk and Gazer Tattoo abilities are both a result of his...unique brand of crazy and accepting the Number into himself, so they'll change in appearance if he gains more Numbers, and he won't be able to use them if he loses Blackship.

  • Name: Elia Harlel

  • Age: 16

  • Gender: Female

  • Duel Disk & Duel Gazer: Her Duel Disk is a standard D-Pad with a very bright/light blue color. Her Duel Gazer is also a standard model with a combination of blue and pink for it's color

  • Appearance: Elia has shaggy, neck long, dark-blond hair and brown eyes. She wears a light blue t-shirt, cargo shorts, and a yellow scarf

  • History: Elia lived a rather ordinary life and has been interested in photography since she was a little girl. She first got her own camera when she was 13 and she almost never goes anywhere without it. One day she found Number 25 in an alley and it convinced her to search for the other Numbers in order to "keep the bad guys from using the power of the Number Cards to take over the world" so she now spends a good chunk of her free time searching for the Numbers.

  • Personality: Elia is most easily described as a Genki Girl, almost always smiling and filled with energy.

  • Number: 25: Force Focus

  • Deck:
    • Monsters: (Total:25)
      • 3x Hieratic Dragon of Su

[up] Atum and Darkness Metal? Seems kind of OP...

[up][up] Deck looks great. It synergizes with Blackship really well.

Um the decks aren't finalized are they? I'd like to make some adjustments. Forgot Constellar Meteor was a thing and I kinda wanna do some things with the Extra Deck.

I only tested this card a couple of times, but it seems like I somehow made a total beast of a deck. I have never done that well before. Also, I just noticed that my deck number not counting my extra deck is 44. Surprised the hell out of me.

Name: Mikoto "The King" Sturluson

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Duel Disk: Red and Gold

Duel Gazer: Gold Gazer and red glass over his right eye.

Appearance: He basically looks like this guy[1], except the little mane thing at the top of the jacket is yellow instead of black and he has a gold cross necklace.

Personality: A somewhat lazy individual. He is a naturally charismatic person, but he usually keeps to himself. Nonetheless, if you do manage to become someone he cares about he becomes very protective. He is very self confident and is known for completely following through with any decision he makes. Mikoto cherishes his own freedom and hates being told what to do. He is truly powerful, both physically, mentally, and in terms of dueling ability.

History: His mother was Japanese and his father was an Irish Englishmen, they were both archaeologists and met on a dig. His parents died in a plane crash and he ended up living with his grandmother. His grandfather was very strict with him and demanded excellence and he just wasn't able to handle that kind of pressure just after his parent's death. As a result he grew to resent him and became very apathetic toward school, ditching it on a fairly often basis. He somehow found himself a group of friends, delinquent's that are ultimately good people, that he had somehow became the head of. One day one of his crew was possesed by a number card, driving him to attack his friends. Mikoto challenged him to duel to stop him and found "Number 44: Sky Pegasus" in his deck in the duel, saving him from losing the duel. After the duel was over the number card possessing his friend mysteriously went missing, but no one noticed. Being urged on by Pegasus to collect the other number cards, Mikoto began dueling in the underground duel world, figuring it was the most likely place for the cards to show up. He quickly earned himself the moniker "King" due to way he ruled supreme in the underground duel world and his use of the cards "Beast King Barbaros", "Thunder King Rai-Oh", and "King Tiger Wanghu".

Number 44: Sky Pegasus. Sky Pegasus is a very noble card that is used to serving with knights and is attracted toward those with a noble spirit. He is trying to influence Mikoto to become a more knightly person, and is slowly achieving his goal due to the fact that Mikoto doesn't really care enough to fight him on the issue.

I would stick with Nimble Momonga myself. Deck thinning, extra LP, and some effectively free shields are never a bad thing.

I also swapped out a copy of MST for an Xyz Reflect, since Silver Sentinel can do that.

I'm afraid I'm going have to suspend this indefinitely, some stuff has come up (mainly writers block and being part of three performance company's) means I'm not going to have the time I once thought I would to run this.
