He's saying that the definition of Nerf shouldn't be limited to a Game Breaker
. Which he doesn't have to worry about, since that's the consensus reached in this topic and on the page's description. It's just about a weapon/item/character/tactic being made weaker.
Now I'm just throwing this out there, but maybe instead of splitting by genre, we could split by the type of nerf. One category for breaking a Game Breaker
, one for just weakening another item, and one for weakening an item in one way but improving it in others (a lateral nerf).
Just throwing it out there.
