Hmm, @22 isn't great, but at least Superman/Kent is a much more widely known example.

My main objection to 26 is that, in the current, the only thing I can see suggesting that the character isn't an officer is the caption.

I wonder if it isn't a teeny too subtle though. Though I suppose a caption would cover that. I think I might like the Superman one just a bit more. All the iconography of Supers surrounding him, the astounded kid, etc. It's a really great image, and I think a better example of this trope.

I'm slightly inclining toward the Superman pic at this stage, although I admit the sketch is a good candidate as well and if more people like the sketch than the Superman pic, I'd be happy for the trope to use the sketch.

Sorry, I should clarify: I like Superman for this page, but I think the current image is just bad in general, either for this page or for Right Under Their Noses. The suggestion in 32 is better suited for Right Under Their Noses.
