Poke poke jiggle jiggle, here's a work page for Wolsung: Steam Pulp Fantasy.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI want to try this now. I should bring it to the attention of my group.
Add me on Skype: Al Cook (darnpenguin)Go on, the mechanics are pretty smooth and the world is pretty flexible - you can do Wild Wild West, Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones without problems. Also, check out my Tumblr for occasionally-published Wolsung goodies like customized gadgets (I have only my Profession gadget taken from the rulebook, the rest is custom-built).
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisHeh, I remember the time when it was a webpage-based setting in development. Looked like yet another homebrew then.
"Atheism is the religion whose followers are easiest to troll"I'm still a bit confused by the fluff surrounding magic and technomancy, not sure if inventing a new type of engine (TURBODIZZLE, MAH NIZZLE!) would be reinventing the wheel. If so, I'll just use a steam engine to power a helicopter.
Also, I finally have to write the rhymes for my adventure's MacGuffin. Twenty lines that can be divided into five parts, and make sure that the last one doesn't spell out the treasure's location outright. And they will contain Chinese names, how the hell do I rhyme that...
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisI've met one of the creators of Wolsung, the guy responsible for maintaining their English website. Tomorrow I'm supposed to meet two others, maybe I'll be moonlighting as the writer for "mad science corner" of their website and maybe new splatbooks too.

I'm more curious about how the system was translated and if anyone else plays it. Since it's a Polish-made game, I was expecting the mechanics to suck so horribly there's no other solution than to scrap it, but I was surprised that it's pretty serviceable.
So, since it's out and available on Drivethru RPG, did anyone else try it?
