Mega Man: Bio-Defense Squad

The year is 28XX. Reploids and humans are living together in coexistence. Working together. Living together. Merely existing together. But sadly, all is not peaceful.

While the threat of Model W is gone, there are more who do not care for the peace amongst the species. So, to further their own plots, they intend to bring about chaos. Disorder. Disharmony.

But there is one group who can prevent all that. One group who is strong enough to prevent this plan from coming to fruition. one group...who can save the world.

They...are the Bio-Defense Squad.

The Bio-Defense Squad is something of the police of this world, combining the forces of Reploids and Humans to keep the world at peace and calm, by using the six strongest fighters they have. Warriors blessed with the powers of the legendary Biometal. They may not seem powerful, but the six who use them are capable of saving the entire world, if need be. However, who are these six users?

That's for you to decide.

For the plot, you'll be taking control of a Human or a Reploid who is blessed with the strength of a Biometal. Who is this character? What's their history? Why were they chosen for the Biometal?

• Name: Ashen Tyl.
• Age: 22
• Gender: Male

• Personality: The try hard one. He's a hard worker, but in the end he's always tripping over his own feet, especially on missions. He does mean well, and he's very sweet, it's just a matter of him being a massive klutz. Having a Bio-Metal, however, seems to make him a work hazard for everyone he works with.
• Appearance: Almost always wearing his BDS suit and badge (Depicting a Bio-Metal (Unknown which one) over a pair of swords. His hair is short and blonde, his eyes are bright green, and he has a large, energy bullet shaped scar on the side of his head. (How he got it was testing the Biometal for the first time, and almost blew his own head off). With his Bio-Metal active, he looks almost like Megaman X.
• History: The truest form of "Well Done, Son" Guy. His father is the chief of the BDS, who has always seemed to look down at him ever since he was a teenager. Almost nothing Ashen did seemed to impress his father, so to show his worth he went to join the BDS. However, after failing test after test after test, he was prepared to give up hope...until a voice called out to him. Biometal X. Touching the Biometal gave him the full suit and powers, but no one knew why. The Bio-Metal, speaking to him, only told him that "Great things could come from him".

• Gender:Male
• Biometal Model: H
• Reploid or Human?:Reploid
• Personality: The Quiet one. He doesn't talk much about himself, or where he comes from, preferring to get the job done and go back to his own solitude, where he buries himself in his books. While he may seem stand-offish towards those he works with, he is never a bother to his team
• Appearance: Dewey is clad typically in a tailored version of the BDS suit, several extra pockets dotting the pants and vest. His hair is a dark brown, almost black colour, that hangs down to his shoulders, although he usually wears it in a tight braid. His eyes are a dark brown, which he keeps 'hidden' behind a pair of horn rimmed glasses (not needed)
• History: Formerly a librarian's assistant, Dewey was content with his existance, getting to assist humans and reploid alike in finding books, and getting to bury himself in his work. H Is life was thrown for a loop when his library, and the few customers at the time, were seized and held hostage by a lunatic human, protesting reploids and their existence as a constance in human life. He was at a loss for what to do, disheartened that he could do nothing. It was at his lowest that he found something in the repository, a strange metal object. The moment he picked it up, he changed. Infused with the power of Biometal H, he apprehended the deranged human, turning him over to the BDS. Feeling happy that he was able to help, He went to the BDS, wanting to make sure no-one, human or reploid, would ever feel the way he did

• Name: Zephyr/"Cipher"*
  This particular name's just used as a Paper-Thin Disguise when Megamerged
• Age: 24
• Gender: Male
• Biometal Model: Model Z, the Red Mega Man.
• Reploid or Human?: Human
• Personality: Zephyr is the sort of person who gets rather cocky and ferocious when he's in combat, but outside of it he's as approachable as anyone else. He never backs down, which, unfortunately, has led to him getting crushed by a superior foe on more than one occasion. Gentle to his allies, but fearsome toward his foes, Zephyr can almost always be relied upon. He is especially protective toward those weaker than himself.
• Appearance: Zephyr wears a BDS suit just like everyone else, though his version is a bright shade of crimson and has a large "Z" emblazoned proudly on the back. When Megamerged, he wears an All-Encompassing Mantle*
  Think Craft's own mantle
  that holds a red cape with golden lining. Underneath this is the typical Mega Man outfit. He also lacks a helmet but has a visor instead, ala Girouette. He has blue eyes and long blonde hair, and his body shape can be described as "bean pole". Both of his artificial ear "pods" have a long, fin like antenna. Finally, when megamerged his beamsabre is fairly long and thin, with an angular tip. It glows teal.
• History: Zephyr grew up in an urban area where fights were commonplace among the younger parts of the populaton, either as a way to settle disputes or to kill time. One day, however, a roving group of mechaniloids that had gone berserk attacked the neighbourhood, causing several casualties. In the chaos, Zephyr stumbled across Model Z, who promised to give him the power to protect those around him. The young man accepted, and he acted as a sort of superpowered vigilante until he was recruited into the Bio-Defence Squad.
• Additional info: When necessary, Zephyr can shed the mantle when megamerged for extra speed. This sacrifices some defensive ability, though. Since in canon Model Z doesn't appear to have any special abilities of its' own (aside from that weird Biometal stunning thing, and I doubt we're going to get to use that), I'm going to assume it can use something similar to Zero's Learning System to gain new moves after defeating a suitably powerful foe. Not sure whether or not it'd have something like a Zero Knuckle or not.

During especially cold weather, he likes to wear a ushanka with a "Z" symbol on it and a thicker coat (though I'm not sure if this will appear in the RP proper ).

• Biometal Model: Model P - "The Shadow Mega Man"
• Reploid or Human: Human
• Personality: Chou tends to be an outwardly frigid person. Past that however, she is very loyal on the inside and treats her allies and friends with respect. Very professional, she takes great pride in her work and takes it very seriously. However, due to her devotion to her work and her time spent away from society, she's not very adept at interacting with others in a casual manner. She has a very efficient fighting style, preferring to exploit the enemy's weakness to end a fight quickly rather than Attack! Attack! Attack! (No Lv.4 victories for her).
• Appearance: Standing with a tall figure, Chou possesses green eyes and slightly short, dark hair. Usually wears a dark-colored, standard BDS suit and a flowing red scarf with the BDS insignia on it. When Megamerged, the armor is standard. However, the helmet is rounded instead of pointed, looking more like the helmet for Model Px rather than Model P alone. The insignia on the scarf carries over as well.
• History: Chou grew up with a normal childhood in a small town. It was unremarkable and humble, but is was a happy life, and that was enough. But everything changed when the Fire Nation Mavericks attacked. The whole town was set ablaze, and she alone escaped the fire. Alone and helpless, Chou stumbled for a day until she found a strange rock partially buried in the sand, Biometal Model P. Model P heard the girl's plight and offered his assistance. With the power to support herself, Chou drifted from town to town doing odd jobs to support herself. It was during one of these jobs that she met a BDS member. The days of aimless wandering was over as she was quickly recruited into the BDS as a Mega Man.
• Additional info: While Model P was primarily a long-ranged fighter in the game (It didn't have any short-ranged attacks at all. Model F could at least punch people in the face.), I'm probably going to try to give her some sort of hand-to-hand combat ability by doing some sort of Wolverine Claws thing with the kunai or something. It seems like a cool concept in my mind, but we'll see, I guess.
