So episode two, well Hajime as the mentor was expected, and with Tsubasa and Gel-chan they created a rather interesting group.

Anyway seems like the bad guys are winning so far, poor Rui why does he always attract these nuts?

Well poor Rui fell right into that one, well at least Tsubasa and Gel chan are trying to save the day.

I surprised Hajime actually stopped like that.

And yeah, Rui, I like you and all, but you deserved that.

And fuck Red Crowds dude. He's done more harm with the Red Crowds than anyone else did with the Blue ones (since the person who controls them can apparently shut off a person's ability to use them at any time).

Even if I see his point, he's still a fucking Hypocrite who just hates humanity.

Oh geeze oh geeze. I hope Rui makes it out alright.

Well several buildings got blown up by the blue ones and so far the red ones seem to have avoided civilian casualties (if only to put leverage on Rui. Screw that carrot head)

On a lighter note, I find it hilarious how Sugane's emulating Jou—-with the glasses, and studying at Tokyo University (he's going there, right? I don't even know how he managed passing), and that bit with the greeting in episode 3.

Also, Utsutsu needs a new catchphrase.

And as much as I'm liking this season, I wanted to know more about Jou, Sugane, and Utsutsu's backstories. Was Jou when he started kinda like Tsubasa now, before he got all cynical? Did Sugane got chosen after he was saved?

Hell, I wanna see the fight that destroyed OD's home planet. That'd be fucking awesome.

They do seem to be pushing Jou/Sugane pretty hard.

And while it might be cool to see OD going all out it would probably be pretty depressing too.

Truthfully, after hyping OD up so much, only for him to get roflstomped, it'd be nice to really see what he can do.

If Jou/Sugane happens I'm gonna be so happy. ;-;

And the depressing is also one of the reasons I wanna see it. That, and total planetary destruction.

They'd have to go to space for that. OD wrecking a fleet of alien invaders would be awesome. Ah, if only.

Plus Katze can't be defeated through violence, but through acceptance and a teenage girl taking away his anonymity and shoving him inside her.

Hmm Is it just me or does Hajime's boobs only look oversized when she's wearing her uniform? Because they seem to look normal or even sometimes smallish when she's not wearing them.

A padded bra maybe.. whatever

Anyway, I find it funny that even though Tsubasa is the new MC this season, I'm more interested in Hajime because she's actually showing some emotions this time that doesn't include being happy.

"Almost killing off Rui" is an important theme in the Japanese animated series Gatchamam Crowds.

Gel is still cute and Tsubasa's firework powers are cool. I want her to save Rui.

A+ jokes at the beginning of the episode.

I find it funny that Vape Asshole was able to avoid the original disaster by not using the crowds at all, not necessarily because he didn't trust Katze (Rui was at least smart enough to do that) but because he possibly trusted humanity even less.

I also want to know what he would do if Rui really did get rid of the Crowds? With Katze now being Hajime's boobs (), he can't really force the kind of situation that he did with Galax, so what would happen next?

Would he just stop and bugger off until the next time he thought Humanity was going to fuck things up? Would he decide to exert more control to keep the apes in line? What is he gonna do if he actually wins?

Well, that was... actually pretty expected.

So either Gel-Sadra was always male or we just got hit with an Unsettling Gender-Reveal.

And I don't know where things are going, but it's gonna get weird soon.

Gel-san is going to be the Well-Intentioned Extremist Big Bad of this season. This is gonna be interesting.

Yeah seems like VAPE-dude will be the MESS of this season, who's main purpose was to throw an Apple of Discord into the status quo.

On Gel this is probably another reference to the original Gatchaman series. Gel Sadra there was a little girl who was artificially aged up to adulthood to better serve as a the New Galactor Commander. Her adult form despite being female had a male voice for some reason.

Oh.

Kinda like how Katze is both male and female.

Not really she just had a male voice actor. It was presumably because Gel Sadra was originally intended to be male.

Apparently the Official site mentions that young Gel Sadra is male.

Gel will likely be the YHVH-esque no fun allowed guy to Katzes love for conflict to the point of destroying worlds. No surprise he realizes things are gonna go bad (especially for Berg) if they don't do something about Gel.
