I said postmoderns, hipsters, and out-of-left-fielders, not pop culture spewers.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I love skinny, shaggy haired hipster boys.
I know this aint The Nunnery but I'm tipsy and somehow that means something.
Emperor Wu liked cake, but not exploding cake!Look, the socially constructivist nature of this thread is - in itself - an attempt at pomo humour. By explicitly pointing out that its an attempt to discuss pomo is itself pomo. The self-awareness created herein is a larger state of pomo.
Of course, what I am saying is neither true nor false; it is both or neither. Knowledge is a constructivist and subjective system that is biased because it uses language. Knowledge is not a constant, but it is a socially-controlled and societally-divulged body.
Also #pomo.
I’m so alone without you. To call up on the weekends with my cellular phone.I somehow read "pomo" as "porno".
Yes, that's the thing that I'm taking away from this.
If I were to be post-modern then I would have to be the Meta Guy and claim our lives in the greater scheme of things are simply a movie or tv show that someone watches and enjoys.
And that our lives are a mix of comedy, drama, coming of age all mixed into one.
You feel me?

Maybe we're in a reality TV contest that is at the same time farcical and aware of how ridiculous it is while taking itself entirely seriously.
Making itself to be a ludicrious and brilliant camp experience.
...I've, uh, been watching a lot of camp fiction.

Or perhaps TV Tropes is one big community college where I'm a filmmaker recording our daily lives and referencing film and tv a lot.
Or something.
I've been watching too much Community
A thread for hipsters? Hipster mode! Activate!
Music that is popular is inherently bad due to the fact that the majority of the population don't actually like music.
I'm so sorry that my avatar doesn't appear fully in the shot, but the cat was threatening the photographer.Except that's a stupid thing to say.
Or is it the most meta thing to say?

No, it's pretty stupid.
Or is it not?
I could do this thing for a while, but I won't.
Instead, I'm going to link Dream Theater:
No, the link isn't related to anything.

Just to make things clear, I don't believe that something's popularity actually has any bearing on it's quality. I do find people calling me a hipster on the grounds that I do have a preference for weird, Postmodern things. I just find them more interesting.
Is it just me who doesn't really notice or care about the difference between So Bad, It's Good and So Cool Its Awesome?
I'm so sorry that my avatar doesn't appear fully in the shot, but the cat was threatening the photographer.Well you know whatever qualifies under either title is still fun and cool. So yeah there can be no difference.
I don't really care either way. If it entertains me, it's all good.
We live in a post-Lil Poundcake world.

What the fuck was that?
American television at its finest.
We really need a larger character limit for thread titles.
So, this thread exists. Let us discuss its existence and how that matters in the grand scheme of the rest of life, the universe, and everything, and then fall into existential despair. Lend me your mouths.
