Moon◊I don't really think that works. It looks like labeling in the same sense that Luigi is the queen on the Super Mario Bros chess set.
It kind of is both - the male characters in the deck are spades and the female characters are hearts. Huey, as the male character frequently mistaken for a girl, gets to be the queen of spades. (And the king of hearts is Sylvie, the female character who was briefly mistaken for him.)
At any rate, it is, strictly speaking, better than the current, according to the criteria in the OP, which is why I suggested it.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI actually like the play on imagery...I'll give the card a pending other suggestions.
That Huey Laforet image is not an example. Remember, it's about a male character who's mistaken for female by other characters.
The page seems to differ, although it's not exactly clear.

It's clearly stated in the description. Unfortunately, probably because the name is bad, it's attracting a ton of misuse.
Perhaps this El Goonish Shive strip, third panel?

The bottom panel of this Dubious Company page would be perfect. Not sure how it would fit though.
I like the Dubious Company one. No idea how El Goonish Shive is about the trope, unless someone picked up the wrong link.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe card is very nice. The El Goonish Shive one would work with the bottom speech bubble cropped out, but it's not my preference. The Dubious Company one works on resize, which I didn't expect. I like it.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Works better than I thought it would.

@13 works for me as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOne or two more votes for 13 and we can run with it.
13 has my vote.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Another vote for 13.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. And that's two. Posted.
Caption? It kind of is its own caption.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable"Seriously, don't make me hit you with my purse."

...eh. Not in favour.
The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable
This trope is supposed to be about male characters who are frequently mistaken for female by other characters, not just an effeminate male character, hence the In Universe Examples Only disclaimer. So the current picture doesn't fit (to be fair neither do most of the examples).
