I don't understand why there isn't a page for this. Would it be alright for someone to make one? ____________________________ EDIT: Alright, for anyone who does not know what the Saga of Rex is, it is a series of wordless comics that was written by Michel Gagne for the Flight series of Anthologies(to be specific, 2-7). It centers around the titular character(a fox), who travels through a great variety of lands. I can't give you a clearer view on the plot without spoiling it. You can also now get it as a stand alone book(not to say you shouldn't read the Flight Anthologies; they're the only comic anthologies I own.)

So, are you alright with that?

[up]Sure. ...If you would care to first tell us just what 'Saga of Rex' is. Because I've never heard of it before.tongue You might end up having to make a page for it yourself.

[up] Yeah. I hear what you're saying. I had to make that whole page for Song of the Sea by myself. tongue

But anyway, maybe I can help out, "The Saga of Rex" is a graphic novel which (silently, as in no narrating) tells the story of a fox named Rex who ends up going on an intergalactic trip of epic proportions where he ends up hooking up with a female alien shapeshifter named Aven, who usually appears as an exotic-ish fox-like, creature.

The author is named Michel Gagné, who has had experience in animated movies like The Iron Giant and The Land Before Time (just to name a few). He even made his own video game for the Xbox Live Arcade called Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet. Back in Late 2012, he made a Kickstarter (which got successfully funded) to adapt "The Saga of Rex" into animated form. By July 15, 2013, he uploaded a 5-minute short of the very beginning of The Saga of Rex. After that, everything seemed to have gone quiet.

But come January 7, 2014 and a Belgian animation/vfx shop called Grid Animation has optioned "The Saga of Rex" to be an animated feature, with Michel Gagné as the director.

By the way, I only heard of it when it was doing its Kickstarter project, and I've checked up on it while it was still in the process of being funded. I've never read the original graphic novel, but it looks...promising.

Also, here's that proof-of-concept short Gagné uploaded on You Tube last year.

I hope this clears up any questions you have of it. smile

Seeing as we're talking about something from the "Flight" anthology, I'd like to say there are plenty of great stories and creators.

Amy Kim Kibuishi is one such example, and her "Food From The Sea" is my current favorite "Flight" story.

Could I just ask you guys to check out the tropes page for this awesome collection? It really needs work.
