Missed chances that Animaniacs could have done

We all know the show Animaniacs took jabs at the culture of its time. However, some things didn't get made fun of. What are the things that you wished that the Animaniacs could have made fun off but in reality it never came to be? Now keep in mind. Since this isn't a reboot we are talking here. We are talking about stuff from the 90s here(and possibly 80's if we are going that far).

Just name the product, and how you think it would have gone. I wish that Animaniacs made fun of The Shining. Since its known for being a perfect example of Stanley Kurbrick's perfectionism, I think it would have been a complete riot to see the Warners mess around on the set of The Shining. In the end, all the mistakes make Stanley go insane at the end and he ends up in a straight jacket.

You think you could've posted that in this thread instead?

The show milked pretty much all the good pop culture stuff made until its arrival. I might be interested on discussing on new material the show could riff upon with a revival (that will never come anyway), but not on looking back straining my head thinking on what obscure stuff they missed.

The Warner Sibling messing with the cast of LOST would be priceless...

I would have liked to see them poke fun at the grunge movement. However, the demise of Kurt Cobain might have gotten cries of "Too Soon" if it was during the beginning of the show and considered passe by the end of the show.

As a huge fan of The Simpsons, I would have also liked to see them poke fun at that.

[up] Closest I can think of is the Pinky and the Brain episode "The Pinky P.O.V" where they start a grunge band called "Frog The Dry Widget" in order to get teens to be part of their plan.

There were also a couple of Tiny Toons episodes which made fun of Simpsons, such as "It's All Relatives" where Babs Bunny does impressions of the characters, as well as "Weekday Afternoon Live" where a Bart Simpson lookalike hosts and is repeatedly blasted in the show (possibly in response to the Tiny Toons staff not getting permission to use the Simpsons theme in the former episode. There was also Histeria which recreated the Simpsons intro using their characters (Father Time as Homer, World's Oldest Woman as Marge, Big Fat Baby as Maggie etc.)

Basically, when it comes to Tom Ruegger shows, if you think that one of his shows hasn't tackled a pop culture figure of that time, most likely one of his other shows will.

That said, I would've liked to see them tackle more video game-related lore such as Doom, Sonic, etc.

I remember Tiny Toons had a reference to the Ninja Turtles and their lucradive merchandising when talking about what early teens think are cool. :)

Animaniacs... did they ever make fun of Disney's Aladdin? I know they had fun of Beauty And The Beast.

[up] The Aladdin parody is only part of the Award Bait song, along with the Little Mermaid and the Beauty and the Beast in that particular episode. However, the last two get puns about them while I don't think Aladdin does.

It would have been a complete riot to see Animaniacs do a huge Take That! to WB's most hated animated feature Quest for camelot. I can already imagine the jabs that will be made on this. Dot questioning why the female lead looks like "someone from a different studio". While Yakko is looking through the script and breaks the fourth wall saying "Where's the story in this? All I see here are holes with no plot and musical numbers that are downright awful."

This rule of this thread is to think of stuff Animaniacs could make fun of AT THE TIME IT WAS IN PRODUCTION.
