Over in the "Any systems you really, REALLY want to play" thread, a few people have expressed an interest in playing an IRC game of Changeling : The Lost, as the title says.

I believe that the currently interested are : Talden, Kyle Jacobs, Slendid Suit, and I.

If I missed someone, please let us know here. If you want to join, again, just let us know.

First order of business : Who wants to be the Storyteller?

Considering that if this crazy undertaking does start and I do manage to get involved, I will probably be appearing sporadically due to timezones, I can probably opt-out of storytelling [lol]

I'm currently binging the books. I don't think I can be the Storyteller, because my mastery of English isn't probably enough to improvise for a whole game. Plus, you know, I don't know the whole game yet.

On a related subject: on what time zone are we, exactly? I'm living in GMT+1, but I can easily stay up pretty late if needed.

I'm in GMT -5. Still quite feasible.

If no one else volunteers before we are ready to start, I'll be the Storyteller. I've never played nWoD before, but I'll do my best.

However, I only have access to the nWoD basic book and the basic Changeling book, so if I'm Storytelling, I'll only give you access to those.

Also GMT-5, also never played WOD. I also don't think I have time to handle all the prep work that storytelling would entail on account of college.

Weird: I have a few of them on pdf, if you want I can zap them over to you via email or dropbox or something.

And I'm at GMT+0, so yeah.

Thanks, I'd appreciate that.

On the subject of your timezone, Talden is even further away than you are. We'll make it work.

I think I have all the books available. But it's probably unwise to actually use them all at once if we're beginner: too much information, too many options, we'd get kinda lost!

Keep us updated on what you plan for this, Weird Username.

I'd love to do this, but I never played NWOD before and I don't have any of the books.

Neither of those are a problem. And from what I can tell, we're still at the "what the fuck are we actually doing" stage so if you want in you're in :L

The only times I can do are Fridays, and the weekends currently. Timezone is -5 or American Eastern.

I finish school pretty late on Fridays, and with the timezones, the game would start around 1AM or 2AM for the players across the Atlantic. Not good.

The rest of the week, I'm free every afternoon, and all day on the weekends. So, how about we do this on the weekends?

I think the best option for me is afternoon, thursday through sunday.

Saturday would work best for me, Uni and all that. Afternoon for you would be what, early/late evening?

Most likely.

If anyone's able to hop on IRC at some point I could use some help setting up a character - I've never played Wo D before. I'll be in #TroperChangeling on irc.gamesurge.net.

I can't tonight but I'm more than willing to help. Though it might be an idea to set characters up as a group?

Would it be okay if I joined?

NOTE: I do not have books. Does anyone know where I can find them (preferably for free, since I'm currently looking for work)?

[up][up] That sounds nice. It's probably better to make the group as a whole rather than making each our characters separately, and hope to get along. Our dear Storyteller should have a word to say about it, too.

With Clevomon's addition, that's five players. For now, that will be the limit, since I'm not used to handling any more than that. If IRC turns out to be easier to handle than tabletop, I'll allow more players.

So, character creation will be this Saturday, if that's okay with everyone. 2PM EST/7PM GMT is a good time to start, I think.

Should be okay for me. Maybe something like 20 minutes late, tops.
