I love it.
Good one.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOK then, what's the format for the page header comment?
Pardon, 3 votes is way too early to put the image up.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanLiking the suggestion but here is another suggestion
Saint George and the Dragon (Uccello)◊
New theme music also a boxBoth suggestions are good.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Good for Image Links, or maybe linking in the example if it's not already there, but I prefer the OP.

The OP is preferable simply because of its dimensions. The other will have to be shrunk down to wiki size.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I prefer the OP's suggestion as well.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.A couple more votes for the OP and we can stuff and mount it.
I prefer the second suggestion on grounds of having a better dragon, but both are excellent!
This may be better for image links in light of the current competition, but there's also Tolkien's minimalist diagram of the wrong way to fight a dragon.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableLike the OP
I prefer the first. May or may not have to do with that I recognised who it was the moment I saw it (before reading even the thread title).
Check out my fanfiction!Anyone else?
I don't know, I had to look at for a few seconds before I even noticed there was a Dragon in it.
Well, the trope is the slayer, not the dragon, so I don't think that's exactly a bad thing.
I think the Perseus pics would be better for Image Links.
18.4 is good; not all that crazy about the rest.

What exactly are we supposed to be looking for in a picture here? These are all just a hero killing a dragon but the page says, "This is basically part of their job description, meaning they generally hunt dragons, plural."
I still don't see an improvement in any of the suggestions. Lateral at best.
Check out my fanfiction!for the OP
@lexicon: I'll grant the trope has a rather fuzzy definition. For the laconic I went with, "One who is Famed In-Story for killing dragons."* If I had my druthers I might throw some fan art up of the protagonists of The Year of Rogue Dragons, but I don't know if any exists. (A brief wander through DeviantArt turned up nothing.)
* Which still isn't quite right as it doesn't cover the "specialist" angle.

So, do we need a crowner or something to get a decision made, or what?
