Don't we already have Elemental Eye Colors?
No, the other one.
So we've gone from duplicate name with one trope to duplicate trope with another. Fun. Made worse by Windows of the Soul actually using the phrase "windows to the soul" more than once.
I think the description of Windows To The Soul is a bit vague and indecisive about what it really is. Elemental powers? Elemental association? Personality? Alignment? Seems kind of like a Super-Trope of the Meaningful Eye Colours kind of thing, sort of like Common Eye Colors.
Also a little too eager to point out that some colours are common for Mary Sue characters.

So we do. On closer inspection it seems Windowstothe Soul is actually more about eye colour indicating personality type. However the elemental affinity references are an obvious focus (extending to the page image). Also, dont we already have a list of eye colour tropes that go into associated personality types? Is this trope even necessary?

We haven't quite gotten to Common Eye Colours, but it's on the list. There are a lot of appearance tropes and they're all a mess.

Maybe we shouldn't worry about this and let the appearance trope clean up project take care of it, but it looks to me like the best thing to do is to cut Windows To The Soul and then we don't have a duplicate name or trope.

Because there wasn't an option for 'Near Identical Title.'
Windowstothe Soul deals with eye colours signifying elemental alignment.
Windows of the Soul deals with eyes conveying emotion.
Rename is obviously in order. Something to the point like Elemental Eyes should work.
Also, minor nitpick, the title is also formatted incorrectly. Trope titles are supposed to have each word capitalized.
