Yeah. It would work well as a sort of interquel. So this first movie is the First War, then the next movie starts with the orcs driving the humans out of Stormwind and into Lordaeron and ends with their defeat, and then we have Thrall's movie spanning that entire time and feeding into the Third War, which will be the next movie. Sort of like what Star Wars is doing with Rogue One.
I will said, they need to go for beyond the dark portal since second war is just....that, and there is very little chararter there
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I just saw the movie tonight. I thought it was pretty good. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.I really liked it - went and saw it with my family.
Thanks to the Chinese Box Office the movie is the highest grossing video game movie of all time at $378m
Am I like the only guy who watched it and thought it was trash? Seriously.
This land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind.. ∩(·ω·)∩ WAIT, is this supposed to be the mistress herself?I mean, according to the critics and the American box office you're not.
In this thread? Apparently. I thought it was kind of mediocre, but I didn't think it was garbage.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.I'd say the film went well against the grain of post-LOTR epic fantasy films and series, in at least two ways:
For one, it featured actual colors rather than washed out hues.
But more importantly, instead of building a character story on top of a secondary world, it built the story of a whole world on top of the characters. It had captured the mythic essence of the global events being more important than any single character. The first time I felt something like this was when I was reading about the Trojan War. No, not The Iliad, but rather an anthology of the whole event made up of dozens of plays and poems. Moreover, I bet dollars to rubles that a lot of gamers with an interest in the lore feel similarly, since the games are all about the global conflict instead of just any particular character.
Essentially, the film went against quite a lot of modern day writing conventions. It's understandable for critics and audiences used to the likes of GOT to not think much of it. And yes, there are some objective problems, like Travis Fimmel channeling Ragnar Lodbrok throughout the whole deal. But all in all, it's a different kind of story altogether. While I'm sure plenty of people like it despite this direction, I'm just as sure that others liked it because of it. I went to see it because it lacked big name actors or the influence of kill-happy writers. I went to see a story about more than just pretty people riding horses in the kiwi countryside. I was not disappointed in the slightest.
Critics hate it because it's a video game movie,it's unfair but thats life
New theme music also a boxAccording to the comments, he missed some cards.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Do you think there might be some new Warcraft sections at the Universal Studios theme parks?
I like to keep my audience riveted.Yea, I thought it had its flaws but it was fairly solid, at least.
Agreed.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersYep. I hope they make a sequel and keep doing what they did right and change what they didn't.
This song needs more love.I'd make a veto on a sequel. I fear Blizz is gonna milk it out of its misery. Not to mention, we already have a few milked franchises each genre
This land is peaceful, its inhabitants kind.. ∩(·ω·)∩ WAIT, is this supposed to be the mistress herself?Warcraft is franshine, they are not going to stop there now so yeah, a sequel is going to happen, how soon is the real answer
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"The people who have final say are Universal, so I wouldn't be so gung-ho.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Shouldn't Blizzard and Legendary have the the final say in that?
Ah, right, Legendary, not Universal. Blizzard doesn't really have that much of a say in things.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Blizzard did had a lot of control in the production of Warcraft. They did fired Raimi for "creative difference ".But i really don't know if that type of authority also aplies for greelighting sequels.
Legendary is co-owned by a Chinese company and it did really well in China so, theoretically, a Chinese company could pick up the slack.
Like what apparently happened with Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation since there was like three Chinese companies in the opening credits.
Not Three Laws compliant. So this movie already move of change some thing to better fit the movie, what thing could we expect to see sooner? like I said I think they will cut second war and take thing directly to Draneor since second war dosent do that much aside of killing Guldan
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"I thought you never finished the movie in the first place? With all due respect , I don't think I'll be taking much stock in the opinion of someone who only watched 40 minutes of the movie.
There's one part I forgot to mention. I was expecting Medivh to turn Khadgar old like he did in The Last Guardian.
I like to keep my audience riveted.
You mean Lord of the Clans? I loved that book. :)
