Speaking of fusions, my friend was in shock throughout the whole episode. He even said jokingly: "Hey, wouldn't it be crazy if Connie and Steven fused?" I, for my part, was stoic until the dance was over.

It actually doesn't have anything to do with Steven being (or not being) a Jew except for the very end. That's not to say that it isn't vulgar and insulting to some, just that it isn't hating or stereotyping on Jewish people for the most part. Most of it is Giant Women with the word 'fuse' replaced with a less kid friendly word. I think the point is kinda to show you how, if fusion was sexual, it could be kinda funny, in a weird way. Don't watch it if you don't want to, just wanted to let you know.

I mean, I also hate the LOLSORANDOM aspect. I had strongly hoped that kind of comedy had died in 2008. I can mostly get past that, though. It's just the whole "Lol we said Jew isn't that funny Jews are just inherently funny right?" that puts it over the edge into just being absolute garbage.

Different strokes for different blokes (on the LOLSORANDOM thing, I agree that the jew thing was kinda eh) I brought up that first video in the first place because the main thing in that first video was was replacing fusion with sex and the previous conversation was about fusion being a possible sex metaphor

Listening to the score, I'm continually amazed how subtly and brilliantly themes are worked into the soundtrack. It may be electronic rather than purely orchestrally-scripted like many cartoons, but the arrangements are just as elaborately done.

It could be just referring to the Swordfighter episode, but there could be a double-hidden meaning to it, especially after Jasper's choice words for Pearl's description:
"... a defective Pearl,"
What if, not only are there other Pearls like or similar to our Pearl, but she had to fight hoards of herself during one of the Gem Wars.
