Though judging by Buzzsaw Gangrel, some FE characters seem to have fused with demons or... are demons... or something.

There's some kinda alternate universe thing going, so maybe the Gangrel and Aversa we see in the trailer are somehow the FE characters' spirits merged with their alternate universe counterpart/reincarnation?

it is amazing how unappealing this game has managed to look, to me, since the last trailer.
anyways, the fire emblem references are pretty explicit (and kinda meh. what is going on with caeda/shiida and chrom's voices? it sounds really bizarre compared to the rest of the audio)
but are there any smt references? im not really seeing any.

I like the character designs but I don't care for the idol fetish. I like the brightness but I'm not feeling most of the areas we've seen so far. I... actually I can't find anything nice to say about what we've heard of the music.
Would probably be feeling this game a lot more if the characters were the actual Fire Emblem characters just living in Japan for ~reasons~.

Yeah. This game is kinda turning me off, which is a shame, since I wanted to play a turn based rpg on my console. Something I could sit and play while eating breakfast or something.
Give us some plot details, or some gameplay vids, show us something more than the emphasis on Idols. Show us some depth here Atlus!

AAA Ah, they are gonna release it in the US. That much I can assure you. Unless it bombs spetacularly.
I want it to have SMT Demons. They don't even have to be enemies. Just casual monsters in the background who you do quests and stuff for it. Even if the rest of the game is just FE and Idols.

Jack Frosts and such were sighted in the audience in the prior trailer.
If I recall correctly, you don't like mainline SMT, and only expressed a fondness for the Persona games. That probably has something to do with it.

Hey, I like all those types of games, and I'm still hype!
Geeze, you guys have to sense of whimsy.
I still have plenty of want for it, in part because I see #FE as the natural result of combining the waifuness of FE with Devil Survivor and Stands Personas.
I also like the appearance of Chrom/Caeda/Cain.

I like mainline SMT, Persona, and FE, and I'm neither super interested, nor particularly put off by this game.
idol bullshit isn't whimsy
it's every other crappy jrpg on the market.
