Hmm... I do not know. Would have to know more about it.
Also, Alec right now looks good but I'm currently asking for advice from someone much more experienced and better than me in judging characters so no characters is fully accepted yet.
And a post containing standard issue UNPNTF gear will soon be up
Yeah, let's go with Jonah being a little more powerful. Updated.
UhName: Doctor Theodore "Teddy" Lee
Gender: Male
Age: 43
Type: Normal
Job/Position: Medic. Unofficially, his age and experience gives him a position of leadership. While he doesn't give out orders (aside from "Shut the hell up" or "Keep pressure on that, idiot"), his steadfast gruff nature tends to set others at ease. Relatively speaking. Appearance:
Doc Teddy is grizzled, with prematurely greying hair (this has prompted some to start calling him "Old Man"). A beard consumes his lower face and neck, with a wavy, unkempt mane of salt-and-pepper hair on his scalp. He doesn't look like the kind of man you'd want operating on you, but Teddy's professionalism and experience are not to be doubted. He normally wears regular fatigues, not bothering to adorn himself with a red cross for fear of distinguishing himself as a target. Teddy's 6'1, built with lean muscle from labor. He isn't ripped or decked like a bodybuilder, but he has the strength to sling people in a fireman's carry and run them off the frontlines, etc. Teddy moves deliberately and slowly and typically carries a pack of cigarettes, despite the fact he doesn't smoke and thinks it foolish.
Skills/Abilities:
Good at talking sense into people, and tends to inspire confidence and calmness in rookies when they first run into a rough supernatural encounter. Given that he's a medic, he's obviously good at first aid, medicine, etc. Doc Teddy isn't a bad shot, either.
Equipment:
Aside from his usual medical ensemble, Doc Teddy packs a Smith and Wesson Model 500 for obliterating anything, human or nonhuman, that gets close enough for him to use it, and a Remington 870 that has seen many battles and will likely see many more before it is retired.
Backstory:
Doc Teddy is antisocial at best and misanthropic at worst, so the military seemed like a good choice for him to avoid a truly people person oriented job. He thought he wouldn't be dealing with people much, which he was sadly mistaken in. Due to some complications involving his family, his deployment was put off, and instead of enlisting he went to school. Finding himself interested in the sciences (a microscope did not initiate conversations with him), he moved on to medical school afterwards and easily found himself a position in the army as a medic shortly thereafter. Earning valuable experience in his stint in the military, he left after a few rotations and decided to work in the ER for a while, which was trading one form of insanity for another. Eventually he found his way into the UNPTNF, no one's entirely sure how he wound up there. He claims the pay was better, but there isn't a paycheck big enough to merit this kind of work.
Personality:
"Fuck off." basically encapsulates Teddy's persona in two words, and it could be encapsulated without any words if you heard him snarl before he has his coffee (or, after, really). Teddy is not a people person. His social skills are slightly better but he is a genuine loner. He dislikes the presence of others and takes pleasure from this job in the adrenaline-rush and the way it fuels his ego. He is constantly playing God, whether it is through saving someone's life or blowing a supernatural creature's brains across a wall, and either way it's worth it for him. Teddy's preferred way of relaxing after a job is a bottle of Jack Daniels and a comfortable chair, but he sometimes manages to show up to debriefing. He enjoys riddles and puzzles he can work on in his free time, and tends to devour books, Rubik's cubes, anything of the like while waiting in-between jobs. He is slightly racist towards non-humans. However, he's so gruff to everyone this is debatable: it may just be that non-humans present an easier source of insults.

Have an attempted bestiary entry:
Thaum's species: Because their name for themselves is pretty much unpronounceable by air-breathing mammals, let's call them Squids. They live mainly in the tropics, specifically around the islands of [REDACTED]. The 'Squids' appear to be large masses of tentacles in a variety of colors, though mostly they are variants on blues and greens. They are at birth roughly the size of a basketball, large-dog size by young adulthood, and continue growing as they get older. Tentacles can be reshaped into almost any configuration, and Squids are excellent at camouflage. They primarily eat meat (fish, usually, though other meat is edible.) Squids are quite friendly and inquisitive normally, and thus the organization is on good terms with them. It isn't quite known where they came from, Thaum's attempts to explain their creation myth notwithstanding.
- Strengths: Their excellent skills at reshaping themselves make them extremely hard to trap, and they can squeeze out of most small holes. They blend in very well with the ocean, and so are masters of camouflage. They have human-level intelligence, and it's very rare to see one on its own, so the numerical advantage can be theirs quickly.
- Weaknesses: As they are used to a warm, wet environment, they are vulnerable to extreme temperature and dry air. In other words, freeze them or set them on fire. They also cannot go without food for too long, so trapping one in a holeless tank with no food is fairly reliable.
- Suggested Arms and Methods of Disposal: Separate one from its group, if possible. Try to fight it on ground if you can. Flamethrowers work pretty well. If you must fight it underwater, try poisoning the water around it (though use provided poisons that can be neutralized quickly and pose no threat to humans.)
- Danger Rating: Low 2. However, given that the UNPNTF is on good terms with all known Squid colonies and they are usually peaceful, if you are fighting one, something has
I'm interested in making an alchemist character but before I write up the sheet can you explain just what kind of alchemy is gonna be used in this setting. I mean is it your basic rearrangement of matter/equivalent exchange (lead into gold or wheat+water+sugar=bread)or is more of the manipulation of elements? Also is use of alchemy performed through seals, magical derivatives/elemental extracts obtained from an al-chemistry set that are thrown in battle, or a mix the two? Plus can two or more aspects be combined to form things like freezing fire (fire and ice) and gravity crush (earth mixed with some wind)?
Are there such things as alchemical weapons or are we calling that magitek? Is it possible to animate inanimate materials into golems? Finally, can magic, aspects, and golems* be contained in a crystallized form and later be released? To explain, what if a water attribute/spell/elemental* were to be harnessed within a shard and fired out as a geyser or a golem crystal that is thrown on the ground to release the entity inside.
I'm sorry if I'm asking too much but often times alchemy can differ from being like FMA to speaking incantations around chemicals.

Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing- Wernher von Braun Until proven otherwise, Everything is RelevantIs Jonah accepted?
UhJust curious, would American Vampire type vampires work? The new breed, anyway.
What do you mean by 'American'? B Ecause there are a looot of vampire interpretations out there. Still this one seems to be Bram-Stoker type, unless we're using Dresden rules and having multiple species, which I don't think we are.
Exist, pursued by bearAmerican Vampire is a show, not asking for the specific american legends.
UhBasically, immunity to sunlight, weak to gold and the new moon.
Also, it's a comic book series.
The more you know
UhI'll write something for Ferus' particular brand of Demon.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundName: (Lacks a name. Players can name) Initially refered to as specimen 248
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Type: Other
Job/Position: Attack dog
Appearance: Creature has kamen snout filled with sharp teeth connected to cannine like body. Long muscular arms, four long digits like on front arms with sharp claws, hind legs are shorter with three long toes with sharp claws. Face has hole in center filled with a yellow light. Has one wolf ear and a hole where its left ear had been. Green semi luminous crystal errupt from body. It starts about the size of a brawler in prototype 2.
Skills/Abilities: Can adapt to whatever doesn't kill it with later adaptations taking longer. Attacks that don't mentally or physically damage it are very affective. Crystals provide magical defense and reduce efficiency of its own spell casting. Can learn to cast spells if enough hit it. If dies comes back to life lacking memories and adaptations. The worse the damage the longer it takes to get back up. Creature also gets stronger, faster, and bigger after fights up to 20ft upon which square cube law starts to take effect.
Equipment: None
Backstory: Creature found in undisclosed location and brought back to research lab in Europe. Attempts to identify species have all been inconclusive. Drugs introduced into specimen quickly lost effectiveness for surgical operations. Crystals seem to absorb magical energy. Specimen was euthanized and body was discarded. Twenty-four hours later similar creature was found within a five mile radius of disposal area of specimen. After retrieval and tests it was discovered to be the same creature minus the mutations that it had undergone previous test. Introduction to shock probes have been introduced to control specimen. Tests have indicated no mutations in response to stimuli. Tissue samples have resulted in specimen developing thicker skin. Application of alcohol to tissue samples resulted in cellular death. Test failed, tissue sample repaired itself eight hours after removal from alcohol. Director is having the specimen trained like a dog for deployment and testing next Tuesday there should be a mindreading to discover more about this creature. Psychics have probed the specimen's mind and found the task progressively getting harder and were unable to find anything of value except memories of of the tests and waking up where its body had been placed. The creature has been heard saying kill after the mindreading. This mutation was unexpected and should be observed, but we have a week until it is shipped out. We've discovered that it is male and it appears to have increased in intellectual capacity, but this hypothesis needs further proof. Specimen has been shipped to UNPNTF.
Personality: It has basic animal behavior.
It comes. The corrupter comes. Don't let it touch the tower lest all reality crumble.Inevitabilis Ardor, the Inevitable Flames: The Inevitable Flames are a caste of Demons specialising in the kidnapping of souls. Their preferred method? Barge into the human world from Hell by the application of brute force, kill everything that moves, take their souls. They mostly look like giant centauroid lions; while they can shapeshift, most don't bother.
- Strengths: Voluntary Shapeshifting, much more diverse than Ferus'; Pyrokinesis; superhuman strength and speed; tough skin.
- Weaknesses: Cannot enter churches and other holy places without suffering excruciating pain. Cannot touch holy objects. Can be controlled by those who know their True Name. Aversion to water.
- Danger Rating: high 4/low 5. Extremely dangerous and malevolent; however, most simply can't pass over to the normal world and stay in Hell.
I updated my post, so can you take a look please?
Shoot, I had a French vampire lined up, too. 200 years younger, though. Hm.
Also, I have some questions:
- What time period is this? Modern day?
- Also, where is UNPNTF's base of operations, and for how long have they been operating?
- You say vampires lose their shapeshifting, regeneration, strength and speed in sunlight, but do they also lose their hypnotic eyes?

Question 1: Yes. Well, Next Sunday A.D..
Question 2: OP knows. I don't know.
Question 3: Probably.
UhHere's my bestiary entry, Inspired by a Visual Novel I just read.
Fiends. Originally a myth, Fiends are a rare sight. Hunted almost to extinction, their moral compass is very skewed. Fiends are characterized by their brightly coloured hair, pointy ears, yellow eyes, black horns, and fangs. Other than that, they look human. They feed off of souls of poor travelers who they trick into making pacts with them. Fiends are very aggressive, and should be left alone. They are cursed, however, to spend eternity trapped in a circle unless a traveler is kind enough to put another living being into the circle. Fiends cannot sleep while in this circle, making them go mad. They can be found all over the world, as rare as they are. Origins of the species are uncertain, as to how they reproduce or are created.
Strengths: Fiends are powerful, and have shown immense healing properties. They are also pragmatic, bordering the Pragmatic temperament, and being Hot-Blooded. They have small control over fire as well.
Weaknesses: They can't do anything while trapped. They also show very average human strength.
Suggested Arms and Methods of Disposal: Do not engage. If you happen to stumble across a fiend, walk away. They cannot hurt you if you walk away. If you do talk to them, make sure to not agree to anything, as sealing the pact means certain death. If friendly, listen to their story and intentions if freed, and use judgement as you see fit.
Danger Rating: Literally 0 when trapped, but springs to a high 3 when free.
Can we consider making this a playable race?
~Thank you~
UhWe should totally have a Fiend/Demon rivalry a la The Blood Wars.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundYes.
UhAre...we now all adding entries to the bestiary?
Complicated - because simple is simply too simple.Probably, though I must say that Claw, the GM, should have (and has) the final word on them.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundSorry for Claw's current lack of posting. He's a bit busy studying for a test.
I heard from Skype and decided I should pass the message to you.
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.Okay, now I have a bit of respite from School. I will take a closer look at the entries for the beastiary and the characters. I've also been working on a list with standard issue gear for those interested
Both I guess. I just wanted to know if a seemingly alive super zombie that's smart would work.
