Yeah, with these images there is not nearly enough space to see anything.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman+1 to pull, that sucks.
That caption is Complaining About Characters You Dont Like, by the way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI can't make out what the hell is going on. Pull that sucker.
Kill it with fire.
Well, I killed the caption with fire, since that is just whining, which I don't think requires consensus to axe. It was actively harming the TV Tropes as a whole the way I see it.
As for the image, all I get from it is some kind of Damsel Scrappy, which is misleading. Pull.
Check out my fanfiction!I pulled it.
Wow, it's Just Twelve Faces And A Caption!
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableSo the hunt is on for a new image. I vote one of the lawsuits from Incredibles and the caption "You didn't save my life, you ruined my death!"
Ooh, good idea. I've found this◊; what would be much better, though, would be to have an image of the actual rescue (wherein Mr. Incredible has landed on top of him, with the shattered window in the background). Can't find it yet. >:/
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIn itself the image doesn't say much, although I remember the context. Ungrateful basterds. X/
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. If you want to find one or more context images, then here is a good start.
What trope do those illustrate?
Check out my fanfiction!Portraying as clearly as possible a rescue that is less than desirable.
Would you prefer the ensuing argument instead? That would mean not showing a rescue though, and would basically just look like a man in a neck brace arguing with a superhero.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIt's not "as clearly as possible" if I don't see what it illustrates.
Besides, an undesirable rescue isn't the trope. Complaining about one is.

Check out my fanfiction!Best I can come up with is a multi-panel:
Close-up of the guy falling◊, Mr. Incredible notices it◊ (so that it's more clear what's going on in panel three), Close-up of the guy being caught◊, and the newspaper headline◊.
Four panels is definitely too many.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableA newspaper headline of some kind might work, though.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Yeah, that's the only problem I have with the setup.
Court illustration of Mr. Incredible and the claimants◊; rescue unclear, but easily deduced from the superhero outfit.
Court illustration of the litigator's statement◊; Mr. Incredible is taken aback, as claimants glower at him from behind. Again not clear on the rescue aspect, but deducible from the context. This is probably my personal favourite of this batch.
Legal battle makes cinematic headlines◊; clear illustration of the trope, but also totally dependent on text.
Municiberg Times headline as Dynaguy answers a lawsuit for public endangerment◊; picture of defender and judge, rather text-dependent.
Municiberg Herald headline for the latest lawsuit◊, containing both the criticism and a photograph of the event itself. Pretty strong, but fairly text-reliant, and may not resize well. This is my second choice.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI like the second best, and the fourth and fifth may also work.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I don't think any of those fit; they seem more appropriate for Destructive Savior (which already has a picture).
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I like 22.3◊. It is misusing the phrase to say it "relies entirely on text"... it is text on a marquee. That phrase refers to content, but the context (the style of the text, and the rest of the image) is also meaningful. (That is: It's not just what is written, it's a bit how it's written. The graphic part of the image contributes.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
The picture montage only show a woman in various situations that it's difficult to tell that she doesn't appreciate the rescues.
Besides, some of the pics are too small to be able to make out properly.
If there's going to be a picture here, then perhaps a before after shot showing her being rescued from some clutches and then shown to be upset while they're by their rescuer after it happened.
If there's are comic pictures out there that demonstrate the trope, then they'll be great.
