I can't see those pics at all. Not to mention double pics is a no no. I agree with pull.
The captions are bigger than the images. At least one of the two image/caption pairs should go away, which would leave it completely JAFAAC, so I think no image is better.
Also I don't think changing the page quote is for another time. When and where else? I think it would be immediately improved by being shortened to:
Ed: I asked her to come in off the ledge and into my arms. She asked me why she should bother living.
Paris: What did you say?
Ed: Well I was trained to tell her lots of things. Her dreams and all the people who'd miss her. But for a second, I hesitated. And she saw it. Within that second, I couldn't think of honestly one optimistic thing to say to her. So she spread her arms and jumped. I started getting headaches, and eventually started blacking out. So I filed for medical.
—Identity
...and maybe should be changed altogether, that is chairsy.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Bad, but not misleading. Also, the images highlight that it's the even that's the important part of the trope, not the little sister, which doesn't even need to be a little sister at all, unless I misunderstand the trope.
Check out my fanfiction! There are extremely few pages with two page images. It's not like there's a great payoff to making an exception here.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think this just makes the page uglier.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThat. It's also JAFAAC. Pull both and their captions.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. We don't have a rule against two-or-more part images. So simply "it's a two-part image" is not reason enough by itself to pull the current page images.
That said, I vote for a pull, on the grounds that it is a Bad Page Image, according to the list of criteria that was agreed to here:
5) Bad image: Meets several of these:
- Doesn't illustrate the trope.
- Isn't an example of the trope.
- JAFAAC.
- Fan Myopia.
- Bad picture quality (pixellated, blurry).
- Too large.
- Too small.
- Visuals Add Nothing/Might as well be a page quote.
- Wall of Text.
- Text in the image is illegible or difficult to read.
- Borderline NSFW.
- Call for a vote on whether to pull or not. Can be pulled without being replaced with a different one.
Sure, pull it.
Check out my fanfiction!+1 to pull.
Opposite of push
Moon◊Bad image quality and blatant JAFAAC...bzzt, gone:
Shinn Asuka has just experienced Exploded Little Sister Disorder◊ and Immediate symptoms: angry eyes; extreme personality shift; loss of trust; susceptibility to sudden flashbacks and bouts of angst.◊

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI also shortened the page quote (the first ten! sentences were clumsy and irrelevant) to what is listed above.
"We don't have a rule against two-or-more part images. So simply 'it's a two-part image' is not reason enough by itself to pull the current page images."
Also, this is academic, but the "right" thing to do (if we were keeping that...) would have been to condense the two files into one file with two frames. Stylistically, two image files (and two captions, for that matter) is meaningfully different than a single multi-part image, even if the content is the same.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Man, just mentioning that movie makes me tear up involuntarily. ... You Bastard!.
Okay, I've never heard of or seen that movie and that pic still clicked on me.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."+1 for 14.
I don't think it's that good, but it's acceptable.
Check out my fanfiction!Bump; anyone else for 14?
14 is good with me.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Yeah, 14's pretty straightforward.
Moon◊Good enough; it's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no? I'm leaning toward no.
Eh, it says enough on its own. Locking up.
It's a pair of overly small pictures that rely completely on the captions to get the point across. If they were bigger, I might have said keep until better picture suggested, but since that's not the case...
PS: The quote's bad too, but that's for another time.
