Yeah, but those are less Viz decided to let Crunchyroll get it and more Viz picking it up after Crunchyroll already god the streaming rights.

Also, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is (weirdly) a Warner Brothers release, since they apparently want to get into the NA anime business directly. Viz doesn't really have much to do with it.

Viz does have the first three arcs of the manga and merchandise rights associated with the anime, just not the anime itself. Doesn't seem to have any difference on the upcoming dub of season 1 though.

Anything recent to recommend?

I'm gonna put Still Waiting for EVA 3.3 on a T-shirt, and wear it at cons.

I'd say Show by Rock!!, but I think the people that like the show are in the minority here, and I'm not sure if it qualifies as recent.

Now then I hear they have a digital cable channel on their page here. Is it tv only or is their site?

Well I'm basing this on page 42 of this thread So I don;t know how indicative that is of the people's actual opinions (the only people with an opinion there are Logograph and Memers, and latter's is more speculative the Logo's).

Blood Blockade Battlefront (the last episode's still being worked on though), Akagami No Shirayuki Hime (Snow White with the Red Hair), Ninja Slayer if you can get past the (at first) limited animation.

So I heard they picked up Fairy Til Part 2 or whatever it's called but are there any dates for when we can expect Blu-Ray releases?

I believe the first part of that (part 16) is already out...*checks* no, it's hitting shelves this coming Tuesday! Part 17 will be released in October.

What about Show by Rock!! ? Are there any Blu-rays out for that show?

The simul-dub thing for that show isn't done yet. So, no.

So I have to wait until the 28th for even a confirmation on the dub Blu-Rays then (I can watch the show on Youtube or their site for free)

The physical release is coming anyway, no need to get anxious. It'll probably be by this time next year, and all the songs will very likely be dubbed too.

BTW, DBZ: Resurrection F's been added to the October release schedule. The collector's edition isn't quite as flashy as Japan's set, but chances are it's a lot cheaper.

So I hate to dredge up some events from the past, but as it turns out we were all rather mistaken on what led to Scott Freeman's 'retirement' from voice acting.

Yeah this is not exactly what I was expecting at all, as much as I've liked Scott's work this is just beyond bad.

I searched up some pics of him online and they match up to the mugshot. But yeah, it's more than problematic.

She's making a Too Soon joke. The former face of Subway, Jared Fogle, who appeared in their commercials, has been charged with pretty much the same things.
