What?
There's quite a few Fan Fics on the ponies going to horror destinations. Cupcakes, Sweet Apple Massacre, Cheerilee's Garden are examples.
And to be honest, even the most hardiest COD Character would have problems being in a horror situation.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Echoing tendo's reaction here.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I'm echoing Tendon's reaction to the above replies.
I never said anything about being in a GENUINE horror situation. Cupcakes is not a "destination" like a walk-through haunted house. It is, in-universe, a series of crimes.
Tell me how you got ideas about innocent characters committing torture/rape from my post, because I don't see it. I said they'd want to BAN violent fiction, NOT re-enact it. I compared them to being potential Jack Thompson. JACK! THOMPSON! Again, I'm curious how my post was unclear. Did the people just read the title, skim, and notice the names of horror movies?

Your post is kinda disjointed and confusing to read.

I never trust cutesy animated characters either. They're too happy. Always smiling. It's the eyes. Suspicious.
But yeah, I think I get what you mean. The problem is that the pure/happy/sugarbowl characters are in a setting where they can get away with it. Their worlds do not contain these elements, and thus picturing their reactions to impure/scary/dark stuff is not as much a matter of moral guardians as a massive culture shock.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia! So, pure and innocent characters wouldn't like horror movies. Well, duh.
So?
Fear is a superpower.Lemmy: Aishiteru aishiteru aishiteru? :p
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅ... I don't quite understand your thesis, man. Exactly, what are you trying to argue?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. Is it better now? If not, can you be more specific? And even if it is confusing/disjointed, I'm still stumped at how someone got crap about Cupcakes from it.
So?
I am asking for which characters would it be in-character for them to be fanatically intolerant of superficially creepy animals and people the way I just described. Or more broadly, how would, say, Disney princesses or the cast of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic react to spiders/rats/fake horror/its fans.

Lemmy: Hehe. :3
Wouldn't that depend on the character? :o
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅYes it would. Thank you for apparently understanding what I'm asking.
I guess my question, which I'll edit into my above post, is which characters would or wouldn't be like that? And the ones that wouldn't, what WOULD they be like? We can limit the question to Disney Princesses and MLP:FIM characters if it's easier.

It all really depends on the personality, really. Rainbow Dash would proabably like horror, but I highly dobt anyone would go out of their way to ban it.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Ah, knowing it's for a fanfiction makes it a little more understandable.
I disagree that characters seen as "sugary sweet" or "pure and innocent" would automatically hate so-called creepy things.
I really don't think characters like Mary Poppins or Maria Von Trapp would be anything like the extreme moral guardians you're describing. Reptiles and insects are not evil or sinister, and those characters are not typically intolerant or over-reactive morons who think cuteness equals goodness.
As for horror movies...well, I think horror movies are stupid and disgusting, so I'm not one to ask about that part since I'm terribly biased.
Fear is a superpower. It's more a "suspicion" which I've exaggerated for emphasis because people kept somehow misunderstanding me and because I wanted to spur people to tell me how THEY think these characters would react to creepy animals/violent movies. My OP has two examples of why I-You know what? Forget it.
Please tell me how YOU think they would react to creepy animals and fake horror. That's the question I made this thread to ask.

Sugarbowl characters do annoy me. A well-rounded character, while being optimistic perhaps, should at least have sympathy and not just smile at everything.
For example:
Enzyte Bob may have the worlds most punchable face.
He may seem happy, but in reality he's very lonely inside. That's why his boner never goes down.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I'm thinking less "Daleks" and more "Jack Thompson".
Same difference, really.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Rarity and, judging by her first reaction to Twilight's tickets and Yankee Doodle's hair piece, Pinkie's reactions would likely be poor. Not sure about Applejack, her main character trait seems to be "cowgirl". So if she saw snakes she'd . . . . wrangle 'em?
Anyway, how about fake horror/gore, like a trip to a walk-through haunted house around Nightmare Night?

TL:DR: How do you think Disney princesses and the main characters of My Little Pony and Julie Andrews musicals and The Littlest Angel would react to creepy things (spiders/bats/bugs/snakes and fake horror in movies and Halloween attractions) that are traditionally absent in their stories.
Which ones would approve or disapprove of the destruction of such things? (It's for fanfiction)
In the story of The Littlest Angel a little angel goes to earth and helps a dove, a lamb and a baby on her way to Christ's manger. I always found it conspicuous that she only helped blatant symbols of innocence/purity, like she'd never touch a deformed man or a snake. And think of how often Snow White and other "Friends Of All Living Things" are only seen surrounded by cute or pretty animals, like they'd never be much of a friend to any ugly bug or other creepy critter, perhaps they'd even approve them being killed on sight.
Even in more recent incarnations of these characters, like the new My Little Pony, how do you think they'd react on a trip to an arachnid/reptile show? Or to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights with their fake gore effects and such?
This post has been edited significantly.
