The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I played it and fought all the bosses with the exception of Dhalsim and Blanka, seems like Chun-Li and Rose are the easiest ones to beat.
Ryu is actually challenging because he uses a strategy very similar to a human player in PVP :V Fireball pressure alternating between fast and slow hadouken bolts, forcing you to dodge hurricane kicks, and occasionally firepunching.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! Also probably an programming oversight, but you dodge Chun-Li's Hurricane Kick by sliding no matter what height she's in, and with me she only used her special attack when she was at 1 HP.
I found Ryu, Rolento and C.Viper really fun to fight, Rose is a bit slow, but still fun.
Ryu gave me a good thrashing until I got the timing down right. Seriously the challenge is great, I can't remember when a classic game gave me this much of a workout :D
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I forgot to download D:
Is it only up for one day, or can I get it tomorrow?
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.It should be around for a good long while :D
Otherwise I'll upload it to my Mediafire folder. Since it IS freeware
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Cant get my USB controller to work. Not playing Mega Man with a keyboard.
I'm aware of the F2 button configuration option. Doesn't work.
Shame. It looked fun.
Harem anime are like soccer. They go on for hours, nobody scores, and a million fans will insist that you just don't understand.Controllers should work. Button 1,2,3,4 for jump/shoot and cycling weapons, Button 10 is the start button. My ancient Logitech Precision works just fine although the layout feels odd, lol.
What controller are you using?

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Yeah, that how i figured it would work. It just doesn't. Thought something might be wrong with me trusty ol Nyko Airflow (damn thing is over a decade old at this point), so I fired up a couple of Steam games I've used it with in the past, as well as various emulators. Worked fine. No idea what the problem is.
I'd be pissed had i paid for the game, but since its free I'll just shrug my shoulders, move on, and catch some videos of it on You Tube in a couple of days.

Harem anime are like soccer. They go on for hours, nobody scores, and a million fans will insist that you just don't understand. That's odd. Try e-mailing the developer(s) with feedback, might be a driver issue with Nyko hardware. Personally, I think going logitech should solve the problem. Also check the readme, iirc it says controllers should work if your controller is already plugged in when you start the game.
BTW don't knock on keyboard play, I was a beast with keyboard controls in emulators :V

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I'm old and set in my ways. I can't play a platformer with a keyboard. FPS's, RPG's, Sims of all kinds, sure. 2d platformers? Cant do it. 25+ years of muscle memory, especially when it comes to Mega Man, is a damn hard thing to undo.
And yes I plugged the controller in before booting the game. That like USB Controllers 101.

Harem anime are like soccer. They go on for hours, nobody scores, and a million fans will insist that you just don't understand.Maybe it helps that I am controls-agnostic. Arcade sticks? Sweet. Twin Analogs? Good. D-pad? fine. Keyboard? No problem.
About the only control scheme I have never mastered is the trackball.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! How about the Wii Remote? ;)

Try tossing a brick to their support page.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!wow
3D games at their highest setting lag less than this game
welp, so much for playing it
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowMight be CPU issues, check the blog page.
What's your hardware like? Such games HATE integrated GMA like the Intel HD chipset, use a Geforce or Radeon.
Also try terminating unwanted programs.
Tested this game on two systems, a custom i5-650 Clarkdale paired with a GTS 240 and a AMD e-450 Bobcat with an on-die Radeon HD 6320. Both builds have 4GB of 1333 RAM and play perfectly with good framerate.
Also this IS a Retraux game, NES games always had bullet time when the screen is full of sprites.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I tried this game out. Holy crap, this is a horrible piece of shit. Yep, it's definitely a fangame alright. The level design is horrid and bland, there's tons of problems such as lag, and you can't even save. At all. There's not even a password system. Happy 25th birthday, Megaman! I am so, so, sorry!

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Did the game spank you that bad?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Honestly you must be rusty. The level design never gets worse than a couple of tricky jumps and some mean enemy placement, and the boss AI has proven very, very good. Mega Man was never meant to be easy.
I will admit the designer should have put more cues on which edge of the screen to scroll off of. Also the lack of save is a pain but not a killer to me, too used to ironmanning my way through megaman games now.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! My biggest complaint is the same one I have with Mystical Chain. ESC quits the program with no prompt, when I'm conditioned to that either opening the menu, or at least having a prompt before quitting.
I wanted to use an E Tank to finish my fight with Chun Li, and shut off the game instead.
Otherwise, it's pretty cool. Ryu and his stage are pretty tough, but Chun Li's stage was much simpler.
I have a message from another time...Just got the game downloaded and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would, as I don't tend to like fan games that much. The 8bit renditions of the SF tunes are awesome and some of the little things are pretty neat*.
The lack of a save/password feature hurts it a bit in my eyes, as I usually don't power through games anymore. And the stage design seems a bit simplistic so far (though I've only gone through Urien, Ryu, and Blanka's stages at the moment), I haven't really died too often during them. And it feels like some enemies take a bit too many shots to kill if you aren't charging all the time.
Other than that though, I think it's pretty cool.
I think it's cool how the Street Fighters charge up a Hyper bar as you hit them.
I have a message from another time...I didn't say the game was hard, I said the level design was horrible and bland. One stage is just filled with Sniper Joes. Sniper Joes which fill up the ENTIRE LEVEL! There is very little variety in enemy placement or design! The only good part of that stage is running away from the lasers in the mid-section of the game. The entire level should have been built around that concept. Instead, so far, each stage I've played so far is nothing but a shoot em up gauntlet. I mean COME ON! Can't you get a little more creative?
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!
Kotaku comments at their Best.
