So I put together this assortment of 1.7.2 mods that seemed interesting and so far no issues. Although I still miss having Grimoire of Gaia.

I assume you're using Forge? If you are, I'd recommend taking out Optifine - it's actually significantly buggier than the built-in Forge features that do the same things. I suggest adding Thaumic Tinkerer if it's updated to 1.7.
I thought Forge was a given. :P
I haven't had any troubles with Optifine so far, I'm running with 60 fps. Unless I find issues I'm keeping it, mostly for Clear Water.
I had two mods I had to decline using though I would if they worked. Eternal Isles conflicts with Millenaire and Plants vs Zombies, and Battle Music drops my FPS from 60 to less than 1.

One other mod suggestion: Biomes o Plenty adds a whole load of interesting new biomes to explore.
I've seen that but I'm not sure I want to go through Mob Spawn Controls for so many biomes and try to figure out how all the mobs should be spawning in the new biomes.
I've been looking at creating a modpack for a future multiplayer LP, looking at the Monster pack on FTB mainly, with some additions/subtractions (Witchery and Galacticraft for the former, qCraft for the latter)
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenNot Enough Items lags my set of mods horribly and with odd symptoms. It lags to less than 1 fps when I have my Minecraft window expanded to fit the whole screen (I haven't tried fullscreen mode) and it lags when I attempt to view different pages of items.
EDIT: replaced with Craft Guide, which is all I wanted NEI for anyway.

so I've moved all the villagers (again) and hatched the eggs we had lying around. they've been moved to my platform and all have spiffy stalls that are sorted by type. I also completed the tomato quest
I intend for the market square to also have ME access, so I'm working on a singularity, I have all the oak planks dumping into an ME chest for now, which I'll plug into the ME drive and turn into sticks afterwards

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"I'm going to start an ME network on my SSP one of these days. Can it be powered off when I'm not using it, or does it need to always be using power?
Also, what's the best way to get small amounts of liquid (<1 ingot) out of my Smeltery?

so blizzardpanda showed up briefly and I guess I scared them off :C
In other news, one of you tech guys should probably figure out how to unclog the smelteries, it's an unholy mess down there and I have no idea how to fix it.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"OK! I have officially entangled some singularities, and now my platform has ME access.

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Now just to get off my butt and finish automating the mage tower and build some Floors for the boardinghouse. I plan to leave the floor plans open for you guys to decorate and design since we all have different preferred styles and mods

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Just in case the quantum bridge ends up draining too much power we now have a NUCLEAR REACTOR.
ugh so I updated the launcher and I don't see agrarian skies anymore... ok so it's under "3rd Parties" now
Also I am piping challenged, would someone mind setting up a tree farm that also shears leaves? I need a metric button of them

"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"So, I started playing around with Agrarian skies thanks to a friend, Pretty fun, though the early game is painful until I get the first auto activator
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Since nobody seems to be playing regularly it's that time again! That is, the time when I get bored of the current pack and decide to use a new one. Expect a new pack and map shortly.
The Agrarian Skies map is here and quests and stuff should be preserved.

yeah sorry! This week was sort of hellish, and I was waiting on the leaves because I'm no good with the itemducts, I can never seem to get them to work correctly.
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"Server is now up and running with Tropecraft v4.0! The map is Tropecraftia 2. The pack is mostly the same as the last non-Agrarian Skies one, but now with Pneumaticraft and Galacticraft!
Ooh, I'd love to join in. Do I use Technic or FTB to load the mod and boot up?

I now go by Graf von Tirol. So what you do is you download the Direwolf20 1.6.4 pack from the FTB launcher, delete the config and mod folders, and replace them with the ones included in the zip file. Also, on the options page of the FTB launcher you should make sure you have over a GB of RAM available and under advanced options add -XX:MaxPermSize=256m to additional java parameters.

Would messing with my Direwolf folders like that mean my SSP Direwolf is also changed?
Yes
"Coffee! Coffeecoffeecoffee! Coffee! Not as strong as Meth-amphetamine, but it lets you keep your teeth!"If you're already using that pack, you could instead download a different 1.6.4 pack and install over that.
Server update! We are now running Tropecraft v4.1. Changelog:
- Added Big Reactors
- Added Chisel
- Added Extra Cells
- Added JABBA
- Added Mariculture
- Added Sorting Chests
- Changed elevators requiring XP for use
For the spells you can just save the book.
For flight there is Modular Powersuits, the Gravisuite (I'm pretty sure that's in the Direwolf pack), the IC2 jetpacks, the Thaumostatic Harness, and the Thaumic Tinkerer KAMI robes.
