I find it interesting that in the last discussion there was no crowner, just a couple of people saying that they liked it. If we had more options I wonder if the current would win? Also, I can't tell if the OP in this discussion just thought we could do better or if he wanted the current taken down.

I only see half the trope. All I see is a guy being dragged around by an energetic girl (and, knowing the source material, probably getting off on it). I don't really see anything "savvy" about him.
