Hey, Saitama himself is the one who calls Garou out on just being a Monster as a hobby. Take it up with him.
If only the story made it clear that Garou was siding with the underdog because he emotionally related to them, yet made efforts so that there would be no true victims.
If only.
I... don't understand the point you're trying to make. Yes, that is a large factor of Garou's personality. It doesn't invalidate any of what I just said. He still went out with the goal of killing all Heroes, even if he didn't have the heart to actually kill anyone. He was only a Monster as a hobby, after all. Didn't go far enough to be a Complete Monster.
Updated thread title per request.
New Manga chapter's out. Genos continues to kick ass on-screen for once.
Dem parallels.
Certainly a moment of awesome for Genos. All badass, even his expression is much more menacing.
Must be the new neck
RealidadeIt be a shame if something happened to it
One Punch Man dub cast announced for the AX premiere tomorrow.
- Saitama: Max Mittelman
- Genos: Zach Aguilar
- Mumen Rider: Robbie Daymond
- Speed O'Sound Sonic: Erik Kimerer
I recognize Max and Zack as the male leads from Aldnoah.Zero.
Kinda weird they're using relatively unknown names for one of the biggest animes of last year.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.At first I was going to complain, but when you put it like that, Saitama's casting makes sense. Getting someone well-known wouldn't fit the spirit of the character.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!What about everyone else, mang?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Getting a bunch of well-known actors like Crispin Freeman, Cristina Vee, Vic Mignogia, JYB, Yuri Lowenthral, Steven Blum, etc would hurt the Dubbing side of the Subbing Versus Dubbing debate. One Punch Man is one of the most popular anime of the year, its a real stand-out for just how different it is from the usual gruel. But then you'd have Saitama, a unique character, sounding exactly like Vash/Spike Spiegel/Kyon/etc. Do that with the entire cast and it lessens just how... significant OPM... really is...
...okay, this is starting to sound a little pretentious, but you see where I was going with it. Why get a bunch of well-known, high-paid actors when its a common criticism that English dubbed anime always uses the same people? When you can get lesser-paid actors that will not only defuse that criticism by being different, but who will do so gladly, knowing that a good performance here will probably get them more recognition?
Ish' a good t'ing!
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I meant the OP man being played by the unknown and everybody else being played by more well known actors-actresses...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Casting someone like Johnny Yong Bosch as Genos would actually go along well with the joke of Mr. Badass McShonen getting his butt kicked all the time, I think.

I wanted Johnny Yong Bosch to be Licenseless Rider.
(4)
Ah.
Well I've heard of none of those other guys.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I'm bummed he isn't going to be in the role because I agree, Genos almost feels like a straight lampooning of the type of roles JYB is typically typecasted as.
Idea: a One Punch Man fighting game similar to the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series, except with much larger destructible battlefields with uneven ground for some. All the S-Ranks are playable, alongside Mumen Rider, Fubuki, and Saitama. All the key Monsters and villains are also playable, and there are two modes: one which has everyone's stats be what they realistically are in the series, and one that tweaks all the characters to be balanced out, like a legit fighting game. Saitama and Mumen Rider remain Purposefully Overpowered and a Joke Character in both modes, respectively.

This will air on Toonami btw.
Mileena MadnessSaitama's invulnerability could be easily mitigated in a fighting game by giving him a losing condition not tied to actually defeating him. Like, make his in-game sprite constantly balancing a glass of water on his head; when his life-bar drops to 0, he loses concentration and spills the water, getting pissed and leaving the fight.

Or have him be Purposefully Overpowered and banned from tournaments. The whole point of his character is that he's so powerful that his life is boring. To have him playable in a video game where other characters could actually defeat him in a fight would betray the core of the character. I should never play as Saitama in a video game and have fun with him, beyond the initial rush of one-shotting everyone and everything.
What about Saitama Mirror Match.
Fallout 2? More like Fallout 2 bad.Do you want the Earth dead?
Yeah, before he met Saitama, but even then he had a record of only beating up heroes, not targeting civilians and killing quite a few monsters.
