If the original actors are on board, it could be good. Stressing COULD, not good. There's still lots of room for suckage, but those two might just avoid that.
If they can get the team behind Good Luck Charlie to work on it, it might work.
But then if it's anything like every other tweencom, the jokes will most likely be horrible, and whatever girl they hire they'll try to push to be their next big singer. <_<

I'll give it a chance. Not sure how they'll play it, though. Allen and Mr. Feeny were one of the dynamics that made the first one work. Having the two basically be the same person, in Cory, changes things a bit.

TBH, I'm excited. During the summer I watched the entire series from start to beginning on ABC Family and I was a fan of show when I was a kid. I'd be down for a sequel years later, I've been wondering what happens next.
Improving as an author, one video at a time.
Funny thing, I loved Boy Meets World when I was kid. I caught the series while it was still airing new episodes and watched it for years after it ended. Now I can't watch the teen through adult seasons anymore, in fact whenever it's on I sort of wince and change the channel. I don't know what happened but my tolerance for the show has gone WAY down.
So I guess I'm in the camp whose not looking forward to this new spin-off unless it's Frasier level.

So this it's pretty much guaranteed that this is going to happen now, and we can expect a pilot within the next year...

Well he HAS worked with Disney in the past. Kimpossible ring a bell? It won't surprise me in the least if Friedel comes back as Eric. We'll just have to wait and see.
