Suggestion: Amazonian Beauty

I may just use image links, but I think the trope page would be better with a real person whose obviously a center of attention. Rio Storm is pretty big◊ and gets over with fans pretty well◊ so that is my suggestion.

This image was discussed during an IP thread on another page - Amazon Chaser.

And the suggestions not only look worse than current, they also are Real Life examples - always an issue here

I don't see why then is relevant to now. I also don't see how this one looks worse. The current image is kind of unfocused. Fairchild is in the center but she is not the center of attention, nobody is paying her any mind. The Rio Storm images have only her to focus, or have her posing with fans(both are obviously about her) and tropes based on a real life occurrences look better with a real life example or two. This is not exclusively story telling tool.

She's at the center of the image, has more on display than the other characters, and is clearly being portrayed as hot with the bikini. She's also more muscular than Rio Storm in either suggestion. The second suggested image doesn't show any muscle or that the woman is meant to be beautiful.

Oh man, am I glad someone started a thread for this one...that art style is fugly. Here's some suggestions, all of Fairchild from Gen 13: 1◊, 2◊, 3◊ (this one may not pass NSFW, but I thought I'd mention it)

If "getting across that it's an In-Universe reaction" is important, I'd almost prefer the current image on Amazon Chaser (or other images that have been suggested for it in the past), which is a holdover from its Hot Amazon days.

Why not do a blow up of your current avatar? Anyway, I could do a combination image for Rio Storm, the way I just did for The Giant.

The only good one I see so far is Willbyr's second suggestion.

I could come up with Real Life examples aplenty, just look at any Olympics ever, but again we probably don't want Real Life examples.

I agree that the best suggestion is Willbyr's second◊, big breasts and big muscles.

Indeed, I think that bulging shoulders are probably going to be necessary whatever the final image.

I found this on Deviant ART. No permission yet, but I really think it'd be a good image.

Okay, it's not just the big breasts on Willbyr's second that makes it good. It's the fact that the lips have color to them and she has flowing red hair. She is beautiful. By face alone on the one from Deviant I'd think it was a guy.

I'd say it's good for Image Links but a little too stylized to make a good candidate for the page pic.

See, the reason why I thought it would make a good pic is that she's flaunting her muscles. She looks just as ready to hit on a guy as hit him. It's emphasizing the muscles and the sexiness at the same time.

She is strong, she is sexy, but more importantly, she's calling attention both of the above.

How? You can't really even see them.

Look like turtle fingers.

I didn't even notice them the first time...

The question is which is better, that one or the current? Of course we could have no image, unless we can find one that's even better then anything suggested.

With no small amount of bias, I much prefer all of the suggestions to the current and mine to the dA pic and the OP's suggestions.

She-hulk◊, Giganta◊ and Thundra◊. Leaning towards the Thundra one myself.

Giganta would imply that the trope is literally only about Amazons.

I was going to suggest She-Hulk too, but maybe having her on this page as well as Amazon Chaser would be too much? Thundra is my favourite so far. Though I would like a picture where the character is admired by someone in-universe.

While in-universe is nice, I don't think it's necessary. Most cases of Amazonian Beauty aren't In-universe.

She's pretty much the poster girl for this trope, and pretty much every picture of her makes it obvious. Still like the dA suggestion though. Should we start a crowner?
