At the very least, I'd say switch out the current for that as a quality swap.

Did the quality swap, as those tend to be free.

I prefer it to the suggestion as well. Both are good, but I just prefer the style of the current.

Agreed with the Duck on this one. Suggestion is good, but not particularly better than current (well, after the quality upgrade, anyway).

The only thing I'm worried about with the AZ one is that people might not realize that it's blood at first, at least outside of context. It's a little darker than how one normally thinks of blood.

That is exactly how blood looks like, at least to me.

I think it's darker than the flowing blood it's meant to be there. It quickly gets darker after it stops flowing, though.

Definitely prefer the Metal Slug pic to the AZ suggestion...not clear at all that the person there is doing anything except violently exsanguinating himself.

Just find some pics from Deadman Wonderland and call it a day.

Ganta◊, perhaps?

There's a lot of pictures of his "Ganta Gun" out there, I just picked the one that I thought best illustrated "he's manipulating his blood".

But how does the Metal Slug pic show offense? The AZ pic makes it quite clear that it's being used as a weapon. I mean just look at the character's face. It has Ax-Crazy written all over it. You can't tell from the MS pic that the guy is using the blood as a weapon and didn't just eat at Denny's.

Who knows, maybe the guy vomiting blood is an enemy, and the player is the one making him vomit blood.

Anyway, you see what looks like the remains of an explosion, and at least to me it looks like the blood stream was aimed a little lower previously.

You're not going to mistake it for red paint. And how does it look like the remains of an explosion? It's a character with a maniacal grin shooting blood out of two sleeves.

I do find the current pic unclear. While there's obviously blood shooting around, it's really not clear on the why, which is important.

Don't really have a suggestion, but here's the AZ comic at wiki size. 1 panel and 3 panel versions.

another◊ possible Ganta image. I just know that show's gotta have a good image for the page somewhere. I mean, the trope is one half of its whole premise, and the other half already has a picture.

I kinda like the other one better. They're illustrating the trope equally well, but the other is more aesthetically pleasing.

I dunno, that one is clearer about it being shot at the enemies...I think I lean toward that one.
