What exactly is the deal with the baseball game or whathaveyou?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. They form a team by recruiting the game's heroines with one girl as the manager, practice a little and hold a match. Whether they win or lose is largely inconsequential. As Kyousuke already pointed out it doesn't really matter what they're doing, just that they're doing something together again.
Ah, I see.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I did saw Kud animated in preview, now I can die in peace.
My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)This show fairly pissing me of now. It's always weak and boring, so I I think about droping it, but then Masato do something stupid and hilarious and I can't help but give it another chance.
It's third time already and I still weren't able drop it despite disliking it. Is that supposed be some sort of torture or what?
Maybe... this show ISN'T SUPPOSED to have a heavy plot in the first act.
....or maybe everyone's annoyed by K-On! having no plot either!
At the moment, it makes me laugh, which means I can certainly keep watching it. Why do I have a feeling of dread?
If you don't have a sense of dread while watching a Jun Maeda work, well...
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I'm sure nothing will go wrong! You guys are just paranoid.
Pff, drama in a Key VA work? Nonsense.
My main problem with the show is that it isn't making me laugh. I'm a huge fan of Slice of Life shows, so I don't have a problem with there not being a plot yet, but I'm neither finding it funny nor finding the characters entartaining, and find their interactions kind of boring. At this point I'm only watching becuase of the promise made by hundred of fans of the VN that it gets better.

I like the chemistry between the friends and a lot of the gags are really funny! But nothing about THE PLOT makes me interested, which isn't helping the fact that there isn't a lot of plot to begin with, although it's Key so it's sure to get heavier later on.
I have not played/read the original VN but I have spoiled myself somewhat via the Wikipedia page for it so I am definitely looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Plus I like some of the characters so I like seeing how they interact with everyone else personally.
just saw the 1st ep, still not sure if I'll follow this one, but the fragment of spoiler I accidentally caught in LB's page, something about parallel universes? is at the same time interesting and frightening me
There's no Part 1, I just thought it was funny at the time.I agree that we need some more development and humour. Make these characters interact some more.
I'd like to see why everyone keeps following Kyousuke (or at least that they keep following him).
The Kengo vs Masato fights are good but they can't keep being the only action we get to see.
If Riki's the main guy, let him drive some of the events (he's done some things like introducing some characters, but somehow he could do more).
Well, I usually consider Manzai an excessively limiting burden on comedy far too well worn and prone to rote scripts, but maybe this is suffering from the lack of a straight man? It's kind of like they're all Boke characters.
At the very least some fast-paced dialogue could spark some humour.
Maybe flesh out the setting a little more too. I was interested in seeing where that note tied to the cat would lead at the very least.

My inner cynic tells me that a lot of the issues could have been avoided if Kyo Ani was doing this.
Really? I can't even imagine how make it better. Wait, I do! Make Masato protagonist. He has better chemistry with girls anyway.

Oh, they'll Never Live It Down, will they?
Lots of ways, mostly with the execution.
Yeeeep.
Uuuuuuuuuuugh...
@kyun - So far, yes. The true verdict will come out when it ends.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Always Someone Better, according to the fans.
Well, they're faithful to the source for the most part so I can't blame them. Till now, only thing Kyoani would do better is animation. Riki is supposed to be passive and there isn't much action besides the fights at the beginning( though I hope we will see some random battles).

My hatoful Monster Girlfriend is the President Ecstasy: Higurashi After in Summer (All ages memorial edition)I'm not really sure what the anime is doing wrong exactly, but this all feels a little off. Well, all the BGM probably isn't helping, nor that it seems sped up. It's too fast and keeps drawing my attention to it.
As the episode went on more things it's doing wrong became apparent.
Unrelated to the quality for the most part, but I just can't bring myself to like Komari.
Anyway, about the episode itself: First, Komari route start. Second (warning, VN spoilers) Rin is involved, so that lends credence to the idea that they're only going to do one loop and it'll be a Rin loop.

Either the Director or the Script writer... don't know who is in charge of deciding what happens every episode. I think that might be the problem coupled with too few episodes for this kind of project.
I don't think there is a good transition from event to event, it all feels kind of random. Like they took scenes straight out of the Visual Novel and are trying to fit them into the episode without good thought to it.
To me they are animating the Visual Novel with the episode count constrains that they have, instead of making an actual anime out of Little Busters.
So far I've been liking it, but I'm kind of feeling like there is some wasted potential here.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.
The game itself will probably get an episode, but that's it.
