Poor Image: People Of Hair Color

The current image does a good job of showing a bunch of people with the same hair colour and the one standout of different hair colour; but I think it could be improved.

First off, grey hair just makes the guy look old, rather than different.

I think that the prior painting better showed the trope, and besides, it was a really nice image. This one.◊

The difficulty I see with the old one is that of the five people, there are two blonds, a redhead, a brunette, and one woman whose hair could be any color; she's wearing a veil that completely covers it. It's not the hair color that sets the brunette apart as the outsider, it's the composition of the painting.

The painting, frankly, sucked, and I'm not crazy about the current. I wish we could find a good shot of the Ishvalans from Fullmetal Alchemist, but last time wasn't so fruitful.

I was thinking that The Lost Children episode of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon were an example, but when I found a pic, almost but not quite.

Maybe it's not perfect but I like the old picture better than the current one because the blonde and redhead are together and those colors are both recessive. The dark haired one stands apart and dark hair is sometimes seen as more exotic.

I like the current over the painting.

Current is the best option so far.

Four people like the current and only two like the old one, but no one has anything better to suggest. It sounds like we might as well close this,
