I don't think I'll ever watch the original CCS or Sailor Moon. The dubs were among my first anime and I don't want to ruin that part of my childhood with the possibility that they might have been absolutely terrible dubs. Just let me believe, damnit!

Oh yeah, I had watched the dub way back when too. One of my favorite shows as a kid.
I can't remember a single thing about it though.
Watched bits and peices of Sailor Moon as a child. Mostly the intro (Which is still annoyingly catchy).
Watched all of Nanoha, Nanoha As and Strikers. Watched the first two dubbed (Which was amazingly decent) and Strikers of course was subbed.

Nah, there's a separate forum for the actual RP threads. Then there is a separate forum for discussion threads. Basically, this thread is for signups and discussion related to signups only.

Well I was planning to write one based on this one
but I can't think of a good implementation for it.

\\\Also, do I need some knowledge about the Magical Girl animes to understand how I'm supposed to RP? Do they start as Magical Girls?
I am 88% certain all our characters are already M Gs when the game starts.

Indeed, I realize now that I had a character concept for this but somehow managed to lose it (I lost something on a computer, how do you even manage to do that). But if Ragna is still accepting people I have a character idea mostly formed in my head.

- Name: Hiiragi, Haruka
- Age: 16
- Gender: Female
- Appearance: "I'll keep the darkness at bay why you sleep." [1]◊
- Personality: The years were unkind and made Haruka a cynical person. She is very pessimistic, often perceived as someone who is completely detached from the world. Others frequently ponder whether she really cares about the ideals she is fighting for or if it just a routine she needs to keep on living. She is very stubborn, perhaps that is the only reason why she hasn't turned into a witch. Yet.
- Bio: Even in this hellish world, Haruka's childhood was relatively nice. She had a close relationship with three other girls of her age, and when they grew old enough to fight, they decided to cleanse the land of evil and bring back hope. The four of them fought hard and defeated many foes in the following years. However, slowly one by one they have succumbed to the darkness. Only Haruka remains, grieving the precious memories she had made with them. Her parents and little sister are still alive as well.

- Magical Girl Outfit: "What is there left to protect?"[2]◊ (The red parts are white)
- Alignment: Neutral Good, but is slowly turning into True Neutral

- Battle Aura: When fighting, a feint, bluish aura envelops Haruka's body. It grants a huge boost to her physical strength and makes her able to jump high, hit hard and move fast. It is also capable of absorbing a limited amount of damage she would receive.
- Berserker: Haruka concentrates her magical power into her sword, sacrificing defense for offense. This enables her to deal out a huge amount of damage. Usually a finishing move, since she is completely unprotected when she uses it. A few swings can exhaust all of her magical reserves.

Word of warning: while it's very well-made and awesome in general, Puella Magi Madoka Magica is also very, very, very depressing. Do watch it, but be prepared.
