would the average defence and weakness to darkness be a better pair of weaknesses?

For the sake of it, how do people gain their Personas? Go into a coma and fight their way out of the dream ala TV world Shadows or something else? I have my guy done otherwise but I want to say how he got his Persona and I realized I didn't know how they got them.

I was considering adding a healing spell to Michael to complete the whole "paladin" angle ala DnD but I wasn't sure if I was giving him too many abilities or not.

Speaking of which I never did seem to get a response for mine...

(Though right now that's okay anyway since I decided while falling asleep last night that there's a different weapon I'd rather have my actual guy wielding.)

It's the same as in SMT. Emotional stress, trauma, perhaps even facing their shadows if you want to go that way?

Maybe like in Persona 4.

Yeah, facing down their shadow, which becomes something like a boss battle.

Huh, okay, but what about people who stated in characters' history that they got Persona before events of this RP? Will they help out other soon-to-be Persona users?

Personality: Christopher is a quiet man who prefers to observe rather than talk. He has great amounts of compassion and kindness but never expresses himself vocally unless it is required. As a man of few words you can usually tell what he is thinking by his body language. He has a very tactical mind and as such will attempt, to the best of his ability, lead his friends to victory.

History: Christopher Kingston was born to a middle class family as the eldest of three in England. His younger siblings, Amy and James, were born only a few years after him and he is very protective of them. They moved to Archwood when Chris was 8. He was always a quiet kid but he never let his friends get pushed around. Despite his thin stature Chris was always able to hold his own.

He learned how to use a sword when his father told him that long ago his family had once been knights. His necklace was gift from his father who currently resides in Europe on business. He lives in the city with his mother and siblings currently.

His Persona manifested when he was walking home with his sister after a party a few weeks ago. A car swerved off the road and Amy pushed Chris out of the way. While the driver sped off to avoid trouble Chris rushed to his sister who was greatly wounded. He called for an ambulance but she was fading. In his desperation he heard a voice call out to him and Raphael manifested. Healing his sister with his Persona's power he then proceeded to pass out. Now he continues to use his persona to help anyone he can with a keen focus on the recent odd comas.

Strengths: Healing and Stat Boosting
Weaknesses: Damage Dealing

Magic:

Diarahan: Recovers all HP to one ally. Can be used on the field.
Mediarama: Recovers a moderate amount of HP of all allies. Can be used in the field.
Heat Riser: Increases an ally's Attack, Defense, and Agility for 3 turns.
Null Charm: Renders Christopher immune to Charm status passively.

Specials:

Divine Intervention: Christopher draws on the greatest of his powers and calls to Raphael. This power costs Chris three quarters of his health (unrecoverable by self-Diarahan) but, in return, revives and fully heals one person from even beyond death (though to ressurect the dead the death must be very recent, think within the hour). The revived person is, as stated before, fully healed as well as under the effects of Heat Riser. This technique can be used on a living target in which case they will be healed to maximum and buffed with Heat Riser.

Question: What season is this starting in? If the answer isn't "Summer", is there a university near by or in the city?

Yes, there is a University. And I'm thinking close to the end of Spring/almost Summer.

I have a couple of questions.

1) What country does this take place in.

2) I want to make my character an ex-delinquent that was falsely accused of killing someone and was proved innocent by Naoto from Persona 4, and was inspired by her to turn his life around and become a detective. Is that alright?

3) How do you make bullets?

Instead of having experience with his Persona, Cerberus came to his aid in a dream against Shadows, and Ken just wrote it off as All Just a Dream.

Usually Personas are demons of some kind, or from mythology, history, or lore terms (Jack Frost, etc.).

Well, there's a whole bunch of gods to pick from, but I do believe K.K was just joking.

So, we have 8 people so far plus DC and BR to join soon... Yay! Maybe we can even start before the vacation ends.
