Needs Help: Clasp Your Hands If You Deceive

The picture is fine, but does anybody else find the caption particularly hateworthy? Captionless would be better than that.

I don't see any negativity in it, but I'm not familiar with the work.

It may be a bit of a meme, but there's no problem with it.

It's not bad, but it could stand to be rewritten.

A Four Eyes, Zero Soul (or something) pothole would take it further away from JAFAAC.

That would be nice. Also, that particular page could use a better picture.

Uh-uh...maybe a better quality version of the current, but Gendo is pitch perfect for this. Some other options: 1◊, 2◊, 3◊, 4 (the last is a parody in Questionable Content)

I have no particular preference for this page. I like the QC pic but have no objection against the current one either. Perhaps QC's in-frame text adds more context?

I like Willbyr's second link slightly more than the current. I don't see any benefit to having text.

Eh, I think the current picture is at least slightly better than any of the suggestions.

My objection to the caption is that it's the sort of caption you'd expect to find under a JAFAAC, if you see what I mean. I'm sure there are some people who know who "Gendo" is and why I should care, but the caption doesn't convey any more information than "Gendo shows us how it's done" would. And it's more obnoxiously written.

The caption is atrocious, picture's fine.

As suggestions for a replacement:

"I'm sure he's a perfectly trustworthy fellow."

or

"You can feel the smirk under there..."

My problems with the current pic are: 1) It's grainy as hell. 2) I really don't like that you can't see his eyes.

...but I do really like Willbyr's, so don't take that comment the wrong way. The current is just god-awful is all.
