GAP: Yes. In a simple video game sense, sleep restores energy. A lack of energy means you can't regulate breathing. I have a mild case of insomnia, and I have had some problems with my chest hurting, like there's gunk on my ribs.

I got shortness of breath and pain in my chest, it is better now but my dad it is because it probably I didn't eat too well. I am anorexic or anything but I do not eat as well as I use to.
