Oda and Shimabukuro are notably friends, too.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."Demon's plan has a color page in chapter 2? Does that happen often? o.Ô
And holy crap, Neverland no. 2. …Wait, so since it's at chapter 17, that ranking is based on chapter 9, right?
Always. Yes.
And the Adventure Continues for Red Sprite. Still, the final chapter suggested that Tetsu will marry Queen Beatrix once they rescue the remaining human plasmaros. Besides the fact that she was practically flirting with him since being introduced, he saved her life and her kingdom, and Magonia's territory consists of a single airship. Their alliance, forged by friendship, could well be cemented by marriage.
Not really? Though the potential is there, and would have been an interesting route to have taken.
Well I think it was obvious that he was acting cool to try and impress the Queen. I'm not saying he's in love with her yet, but she is someone he wants to impress.
Ole Golazo seems to be similar to Slam Dunk—guy who's good at one thing gets crush on girl and decides to try out for the sport she likes, but has to have even the most basic rules explained to him.

I really like it, and I think it can go places. I think it has a lot to do with the art, I really like the coloring on the cover page, and the designs here.
"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018It looks like the series will be averting the "scoreless ties are the best games" reputation of futbol.
In other news, I have posted my annual review of the online edition at my blog. http://www.skjam.com/2016/12/10/manga-review-shonen-jump-weekly-2016/
The print version is on a skip week, so the online version gives us two glimpses at side stories for Yu-Gi-Oh! and Ruroni Kenshin.
Spoilers for the YGO: It's nice to see Kaiba actually checking for possible medical side effects to his radical new technology.
So I tried reading Samon the Summoner again after initially dismissing it. Gotta say, the series turned much better and funnier after Samon stops being portrayed as an edgelord gary stu and starts getting comeuppances.
Promised Neverland continues to be cool, and some interesting results in the MHA popularity poll.
Another skip week, and the conclusions of the YGO and RK side stories. The YGO one was exceptionally unsatisfying.
Doesn't look good for Spring Weapon #1.
That will take at least 2 slots in the table of contents if it becomes a series. But I guess they needed a stupidly long title after Kochikame's retirement.

A pretty good issue with a couple of entries going into heavy backstory territory.
So has Demon's Plan received a ranking yet?
It will as soon as the next table comes out.
A thin issue this time, so padded out with a couple of oneshots. Nisekyu is about what you'd expect while Tokidoki is something you should have tissues on hand for.
Nah, Tokidoki brings out more Fridge Logic than tears. No heart transplants? No artificial hearts? The entire plot should never happen on account of existing treatments for such heart problems.
Shonen Jump has apparently announced these six new serials:
- A romcom from the guy who made the Nisekoi spinoff (Magical Patissier Kosaki-chan)
- An action-love-comedy hybrid from Ryuhei Tamura (Beelzebub)
- A golf manga from Tadatoshi Fujimaki (Kuroko no Basuke) (ugh golf)
- A sci-fi adventure with writing by whoever wrote Eyeshield 21, and Boichi (o_o)(Sun-ken Rock)
- Something called U.19 from a newbie mangaka
- And a manga from the guy who did Genjui Toteku
EDIT: Getting facts straight
Not sure if this means six series get the axe, but we'll probably be saying goodbye to Amalgam of Distortion,

Hey, don't mock Golf. Golf is badass.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I've seen golf anime and it makes the sport look freaking awesome. Mind you, in golf anime no one whispers, and the long leisurely walks to the ball are cut out.
I heard the Haikyu!! author said something in issue 52.
But yeah, nobody else bothered. It may be due to the whole child prostitution conviction the author had in 2002.
