I'm fine with their odd behavior. I already shipped them before hand do...

How desperate does a woman have to be to get fucked by a toaster?

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justicePeople still take this show seriously when it comes to continuity?

We're joking with the way this series is set up. Just roll with it.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceThe show doesn't take itself seriously, why should we?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatOk. I kinda figured that.
I wasn't trying to troll btw

I'm kind of hoping to see a reality-hopping episode this season. Imagine if the Titans ended up in the Man of Steel world (with recycled footage).
Or one where they wake up in the OS and meet their sexier selves and get killed by Slade in battle.

It will be it's own 11-minute Multiversity arc, I mean story.
The reason these titans are so half-assed and sadistic is because this series takes place on Earth-2 in and edition of "Elseworld".
End of story.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSo, I liked this one.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Did it end with the Titans getting killed by the little monsters?
It ended with Starfire defeating the monster, then accidentally giving it it's power back.

Well, it just goes to show you can't just change a person's caring nature if that's how they opperate.
Also, Rave was right as well due to her Cruel to Be Kind nature to the monsters in the first place.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI'm surprised some people hold the original TT in serious esteem, like this series is a serious aberration. It was good overall but was caught in an unhappy middle ground between traditional kids action western animation and anime silliness. Didn't the show originally get a huge backlash for this? The art style IMO doesn't even hold up. (Too muddy.) At least TTG is more consistent in the comedy, even if the characters are super flanderized.
When they do get to that more serious spiritual successor, I hope it has more in common in tone with Young Justice.
I definitely do, and I wasn't even really internet savvy back then.
IIRC, it got most of the criticism during the first season, which makes sense - the first season was kind of craptacular, and the point where the animeesque stuff was most gratuitious and the balance between comedy and drama (or even character development) was at its poorest, though the show Grew the Beard decently enough. Also, I think it got criticism for not being a good adaptation of the source material, though that's less relevant to the show's actual quality.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Honestly, the old DC cartoon about TT featuring Superboy and Wonder girl in some episodes ar the best because it at least sticks with just the action and didn't go Teen Angst on us.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceOh, there was serious backlash against the show when it first came out. As someone who frequently posted in forums back then, people shat on it all the time for not being a DCAU cartoon, it's anime-influence animation, and for it being Lighter and Softer than Justice League. It wasn't until the second season that people finally really started easing up on the show. If anything, the show has one through the Popularity Polynomial because when it aired, it was kind of Love It or Hate It. Even die hard fans were really harsh on the third and fifth seasons.

I mean, don't get me wrong, in the end it ended up getting really popular. I think it was Cartoon Network's highest rated cartoon at one point, it's just that it got massive They Changed It, Now It Sucks! complaints just like The Batman when it first premiered.

His father was a toaster, remember?
Are Batman and Jim just living together now or something?
