I love how the guy who's constantly mocked as the guy who screams for more pictures of Spiderman and his sweet Spiderbutt is looking much, much better nowadays.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.

On the earlier comment about the comic industry dying: Comics was the only sector of the book market to see growth last year.
On JJJ and mutants: He doesn't particularly like mutants, but he does like civil rights, rule of law, all those things. So he'd oppose any program that violates the civil liberties of mutants.

Jameson has always been pretty consistent too. He hates masked vigilantes. He's never traditionally had problems with the Avengers or Fantastic Four.
His hate boner for Spider-Man is just more intense than for the other masked heroes. Though it does make him being a fanboy for Silk pretty hypocritical.

He just kind of inexplicably thought Silk was a hero in Silk's run. Though in this case, it was intentionally ironic since Cindy was being a mole in Black Cat's crime ring and going undercover as a villain at the time.

I think it's the American comic model specifically that could be dying, not the comic industry worldwide.

So I finally started reading the new volume of All-New Ghost Rider & wow this is shit.
Why the fuck is Cho-Hulk, X-23 & Silk stealing spotlight from Robbie's own book? To start some new team or some shit? Couldn't give the poor guy the dignity of letting him stay alone for one arc?
Isn't this series also already cancelled? Well fuck Marvel you really blew this one & I really liked this version of Ghost Rider.

C'mon, man, its Secret Empire. Of course they will disappoint us and remember to free her at some point in the comic. Unless Moon Knight is there to make sure she stays. He won't make the same mistake twice in saving her.

Somehow Spencer will continue to treat it as a tragedy that she is locked up. However, everyone will be partying until the cow comes home since this hack is called out for her stupidity.

There is more to her than just that speech. This article demonstrates everything that is wrong with her character. Sally Floyd was willing to look away from Iron Man's questionable acts and applauded him for doing so. Also she whines about hiding in subways, when the other heroes are trying to keep her safe. All in all she is insufferable, shallow, and hypocritical.

Makes sense in light of that element in the 90's animated series that I assume came from the comics. In there, J.J. hates Spider-Man because he associates him with masked criminals who victimized his family. So, it would make sense that he'd be perfectly okay with mutants since they don't have secret identities. And I believe that take on J.J. was tied into the idea of him as a pro-civil rights/ social reformist journalist.
