I'm no 4chan regular but I go on once in awhile just to see whats going on(and the Auto and Weapons boards are surprisingly informative given it's the image board that spawned /b/), but some of the community's been moving against him of late. "Summon moot" threads used to be of middling popularity, while the last few times "Depose moot" and such usually had at least one or two threads up.
Now it is 4chan so who knows what level of the community it was from note , so it could have been joke, but it also could have been jokes taken seriously by other members.

I'm baaaaaaack"A whole mess of trolls trolling trolls": And this is why I will never take 4chan seriously.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"To be fair, that's mostly the /b/('random' what most people think of as 4chan, /s4cs/(Si shit 4chan says, basically /b/ 2- troll harder) and /pol/ (politics, of the amazingly racist/ extremist variety) boards. Since 'raids' (trolls spamming other boards with either disgusting things of many stripes, or just mocking the board) were banned, the others have mostly cleaned up, but are still pretty assholeish, for lack of a better word.
Old forums let me be logged on multiple devices. Now it doesn\'t, and I don\'t feel like fighting my phone every time I want to post.Even almost a decade ago I only go to /a/, /w/, and /wg/.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Yea, some boards aren't bad at all. /b/ you need a twisted sense of humor and be able to ignore a good half of it anyway.
That's excluding all the pron of course.

If they actually follow through on the announcement, FUCKING FINALLY!!! YES! I just hope that Garner gets included, like the original plans stated.
Finally a good reason to live in Raleigh
Oh really when?Damn my living near NYC which they don't want to touch with a ten foot pole.

I'm baaaaaaackI would not want to answer the questions on a ten-foot poll. It would take hours.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I just wish we could get Google Fiber in Silicon Valley. Talk about irony.

Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlaySomething that came to mind a little while ago, and Google searching hasn't been helpful.
I've started considering maybe looking beyond nVidia cards, but back when I was actively following video card news (waaaaaay back, like late 90s) ATI drivers had a pretty well-earned reputation for shitty performance.
Given that it's been 2 decades since then, and AMD bought them out a long while ago, do their drivers still look like failed attempts at proving the theory regarding an infinite number of monkeys at an infinite number of keyboards eventually producing Shakespeare?
I'm not really much of a gamer, as used nowadays, so whether it can run the latest FPS or whatever is of no real interest to me, but not crapping out at inconvenient times is still something of a relatively minor concern to me.
Yes, yes they do.
My last Radeon card would not even run KOTOR, because whoever was in charge of there coding department did not think Open GL mattered, and the card only ran 1.0 with no way to get later versions.
I think Open GL was at 4.0 or later at the time too.

It's official: Google Fiber is coming to the Raleigh-Durham area. And yes, Garner's included! It's also coming to Charlotte, the Atlanta metro area, and Nashville.
BRB moving to Raleigh.
Oh really when?I got an email from my ISP warning me that I'm at 75% of my monthly bandwidth quota, a stark reminder that even landline service has caps. I have to pay $1 extra for every gigabyte over 250 in a given month.
Considering how terrible their upstream service is, I wonder if it's even worth trying to pay more for a higher cap.
Of course, all this usage is due to having four household members who may all be streaming video at the same time on the one connection.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What ISP do you use?
Living in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania, Service Electric is my cable provider, and PenTeleData is the backbone ISP. They generally have excellent customer service, although getting them to troubleshoot issues can be a bit of a runaround.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Was curious if it was one of the big names, since last I heard most of them just send you angry letters when you break the cap on cable, and don't really do much more.
I've never actually exceeded the cap; the closest I ever came was when I was uploading Let's Play videos to You Tube and using several gigabytes per day. Also, usage is only tracked during peak hours (5 PM to 1 AM EST).
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"TIL it's a bad thing to bump your USB hub. It lost power and my Seagate started making funny noises like beeps, squeaks, etc.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be a case on The First 48Cross posting from the Yack Fest thread: Does anyone here have any experience with LightWorks Free? I'm not touching Windows Movie Maker with a 10 foot pole, and I don't have a Mac nor the money for Sony Vegas.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotFCC officially redefines "broadband" as 25 megabits down, 3 megabits up.
Good to see the FCC doing good for a change. Maybe Tom Wheeler's finally growing a spine?

I have Lightworks but haven't taught myself how to use it, since it was that or shell out £50 for Premiere Elements when I got new laptop.
Of course the free version will only let you export in You Tube encoded H.264 at a maximum of 720p, but that's all I'm going to use it for.
