One of the best things about WRPG's is that they brought that into the general design.
Some still dont though.
I find that I don't play many games with Generic White Male Leads, and those that I do tend to be actually interesting. They may get lumped in with all the Beef O'Dickshots out there, but characters like Nathan Drake or Cole Mc Grath are actually good.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Then you have games like The Last of Us, where everyone's a dick, White Male Lead or not. He's not bad either, and as a father, he's a bit older than the average protagonist, but my favourite section of that game was still the hunting trip. But that probably had more to do with the snow and the hunting.
By the way, speaking of that, if the male lead is a father, it's usually in the context of his family being threatened and him having to do something about it in a damsel-rescuing adventure. Not so much actually being a father. I'd like to see that more in games. On the female side, I think you see it more often, since women are closer associated with that kind of role, but it's still relatively rare.

Check out my fanfiction! To be fair, it's a good game.
Check out my fanfiction!Inside Amy Schumer - My Dream Breakup
Pretty funny. It's not a commentary on specific gender issues, but it does offer a humorous look at how overly garish people can be with ending relationships.

I love it!
I especially love the twist at the end.
"Psssh. Even if you could catch a miracle on a picture any person would probably delete it to make space for more porn." - AszurWhat I love the most is the simple justification for it all...Two years of a relationship gone because he is not as tall as she wants her mate to be. What a petty reason. So friggin funny.
Classic case of Man Hands.
The soulless, empty hollow shell of a human being, draped in affectionate mannerisms, that is the Camp Straight advisor really sells it. His campiness is very well-dosed, too; he comes off as very comfortably aloof and manipulative, rather than catty and hysterical.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Watch more of her videos. They're awesome.
I'm getting some paperwork knocked out, and I think "Milk, Milk, Lemonade" and "Judging Strippers" are my favorites of hers so far.
Sexist peer reviewer suggests study needs male authors.
"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!"Here, let me add weight to your conclusion. Enjoy!"
I hope whoever said those things looses there job.
I think that's somewhat disproportionate.
Check out my fanfiction! Not really, "You say stupid shit, we give your job to the toaster oven" is the only way some of these people are going to learn.
Just taking them to the office for a slap on the wrist is not going to do much in the long run.
Ah, the Twitter brigade. So much deepness there.
It's a shame, because the authors are right, yet decided to use one of the most 'mobtastic' platforms to vent their (just) grievances, instead of keeping the pressure on the journal and other academic organizations/institutions associated with the journal through the inner channels.
Edit: That being said, I would like to see the study in question sometime. It might have actual flaws.

I don't like the torch and pitchfork "off with his head" approach to problem solving. I find it excessive, to put it politely. It falls closer to vengeance than justice.
Check out my fanfiction! But it is the only solution in the long run, if people continue to get away with things with only a slap on the wrist they continue to do them.
Are they ideal after they learn? No, but they are ideal for sending a message that it wont be tolerated.

They can always make him(?) issue a public apology.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane. In the wrong run indeed.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. What if it's a 'her'? And if it's a her, would this constitute a case of internalized misogyny? It might be YMMV for both male and female folks across the board.
If there's anything I've learned, is that only time (in which there is no revenge) will cure the need for revenge (even it it's to punish prejudices).

What they said. Too slow for Internet ninjas.
Check out my fanfiction!Public Apology do not work, there just a case of "I am saying this because I have too" the person never means it unless they come to the conclusion themselves.
And they wont come to the conclusion they were wrong unless they reflect, and they wont reflect unless they actually lose something out of the deal.
Plus in a field like that your supposed to be held to a higher standard, by bringing prejudices into your work your no longer meeting that standard which in and of itself should be grounds for termination, and not even for revenge.
Then why not using the inner channels to ensure that, as I've said previously? Does one really need to use Twitter to achieve such a goal?

Also many RP Gs are going to customisable character root I believe.
