It's what the class believed. Hoshi did tell Saihara that he shouldn't have been such a Death Seeker, and that he's searching for a reason to live. But it's possible he only said that because he looked forward to watching his motive video, thinking it would show someone or something he could live for.
If Harukawa 'killed' Hoshi, then what about Ouma? She never would have given him the motive video to preserve her secret if Ouma didn't tell him about it.

Everything is Vanity and a chase after Wind. Then they both killed him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Those are both stretches. So what if the video was the final nail that cemented him as suicidal? He was already suicidal so it's not like seeing the video changed his outlook on life. The only one who killed him is Kurumi.

Just because Kirumi committed the actual act doesn’t mean Kokichi and Maki aren’t partially responsible for driving Ryoma to that point. I can agree that putting all the blame for it on Maki is a stretch, but I fail to see how you can say she did nothing to contribute to the situation, especially since you’re ignoring the game specifically pointing out that the video was what drove him permanently over the Despair Event Horizon.
When someone commits suicide anyone who contributes to the person's decision to commit suicide or basically egg them on no matter how small the act is considered responsible.
So its all their fault really. They all had a role & no matter how small said role was its still a role.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."x2
I'm not ignoring that. I'm saying that it doesn't matter because it not only was it pure speculation on the cast's part but he'd already given up on life so it didn't change anything.

So that's where that 'aurora borealis' joke comes from.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Happy Birthday Naegi! Don't let Hajizuru fool you, you are the real Ultimate Hope.
Agreed. Kamukura is just the SHSL SHSL. The Steering Committee is just a bunch of senile geezers who have no business governing Hope's Peak from behind the scenes.
Also, yes! It is/was Makoto-chan's birthday! Happy birthday, my beautiful cinnamon roll waifu of hope! *brings out the confetti and blows into a party popper*

Everything is Vanity and a chase after Wind.Ah Makoto my old homie, you were a likable lead.
Man how many years has it been since I played D1? So long.
Haven't watched the anime though, heard the ending was shit so I don't want too.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So I'm watching Nico B's Dangan Ronpa playthroughs...
Jesus, Monaca's such a terrifying asshole.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. So time for the really difficult question. Which protagonist has the best ahoge?
I haven't looked into V3 yet, so I may be in the dark, but I'll go with Hajime. He has Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 3 hair, and he pulls both of those off really well, Izuru be damned.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy. With V3, it depends on whether you consider Keebo to be a "protagonist" the way Makoto and Hajime are. If you do, his ahoge probably wins. If we ignore that, I am probably going to have to go with Hajime. It IS part of a prophecy if Sonia's claims have any truth to them, after all.
Yeah I'm gonna go with Hajime too.
He's the only one who goes Goddamn Super Saiyan Blanco.
That is honestly something that cannot be surpassed no matter what.
Then again robo-boy is already going Blanco so that muddles things.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Gonta has 5 ahoges, so even if other ahoges are individually stronger, Gonta can Zerg Rush them.
Oh, I missed this was about protagonists. I'll go with Hijirihara, his is quite long and imposing.

He's not the protagonist so he doesn't count.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Well, I've beaten the entire game over the last few days, so I can come back to this thread.
Could the mastermind be considered Wrong Genre Savvy? Tsumigi called them fictional characters in a killing game reality show, where no matter what, the audience would always have a majority that wants more. But she's actually in a killing game visual novel, and their fates are decided by one person, who has complete control over the trial.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Speaking of V3 stuff, is there a reason that Korekiyo didn’t just kill someone in chapter 1 when he could’ve gotten off completely for doing so? It seems kinda silly the guy who most actively wanted to kill people didn’t do so.
He may be eager, but he's not a dumbass. I don't think he would've given away his serial killer status right away by killing someone.

Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.Except revealing it immediately wouldn’t have mattered since he could just graduate with no trial and no strings attached. Plus, if the seesaw seance debacle was any indication the guy wasn’t exactly the brightest bulb when it came to thinking through his crimes anyway.
Graduating wouldn't help him with his goal of killing 100 people though. He might get away with it while in the academy but if he revealed himself as a serial killer and graduated he wouldn't be able to continue it outside. Granted his memories are fake so he probably wasn't an actual serial killer so he wouldn't know that but not killing someone makes perfect sense once you take his motives into account.
Wasn't the video the final nail in the coffin?
If so then yeah she did kill him.
