I rather like the current image, though the quality could be improved; he even has the same body angle in both shots. You're right about the subpage rule, though, so this needs to be moved to ActorAllusion.Film (Paranoia Fuel is a specific exception).

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Previous IP thread. I'd be fine with moving it to the Live-Action TV subpage.

The fact that Christopher Lloyd is guest starring on Fox's show is the actor allusion. Him holding his watch the same way is just a bonus.
It's from Spin City, so it should be on ActorAllusion.Live Action TV
Except that Spin City is a TV show, Back To The Future is a film series, and thus the connection between the two creates ambiguity in which section it belongs in. o.o
I think I'll create a new thread about that rule.
EDITED IN: And yeah, the quality could use some improvement in any case. Anyone here have the DVD for Back To The Future and/or a DVD including whichever Spin City episode that screenshot is from?

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe DVD for Back To The Future won't help, since it's not a shot from any of the films. It is, however, the poster for Back to the Future Part 2, which you can probably find with a quick GIS.

Moon◊My bad, I haven't actually watched the movies, just heard of them.
Anyway, google image search turns up various versions of the poster; which should we be going for?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe poster is painterly/stylized, supposed to look like that.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think it's more okay to have it on the main page just because it covers both TV and film.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Indeed the main page does seem a more fitting place, but it's a question of how strict we are going to be about that "images on the subpages rule."
Speaking of which, I forgot to make a thread about that one. o.o
That still doesn't specify which poster to use; many of the posters in GIS have higher quality than what's up there now, and within that there are some slight differences in style.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartIt's impractical. Take a look at Serious Business. It's hard enough to hunt up one concise image for the header, let alone for a dozen subpages.
I'm a skeptical squirrelI say leave it.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I think the current is fine.
Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
The only similarity between these images is the way that a character played by Michael J. Fox (I think?) is holding his watch. It's a bit vague, and I think I'd rather this be imageless.
Also, aren't multi-paged tropes supposed to put their images on one of the subpages? How strict are we about that rule?
