I love their youtube videos, especially Crash Course. I haven't read any of John's books yet, though.
Journey before destination.Me either but I plan to.

I've read Paper Towns, and have just recently gotten my hands on Looking for Alaska (though I was looking for either Will Grayson, Will Grayson or The Fault in Our Stars).
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I'm still looking into them, I want to start with Paper Towns as that seems the most interesting to me, then Looking For Alaska.

I'm convinced that our modern day analogues to ancient scholars are comedians. -0dd1So I might be getting the boxset of John's books for x-mas. :3

Confession: I keep putting off reading An Abundance of Katherines because that was the name of my first and only major high school crush.
Though now that I've read John's other books, I think I'm ready to give it a shot.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I read "An Abundance Of Katherines" first, before I even knew about Nerdfightaria. Then my friend saw me reading it and went "OMG, is that a John Green book?!", and instructed me to watch the videos and let her borrow the book when I'd finished it if she lent me "Paper Towns".
Update: I've read Paper Towns. I loved the complexity of the characters' motivations, and the deconstruction of the Manic Pixie Dream Girl archetype.
Journey before destination.DFTBA!
Also, French the Llama!

Some people think I'm strange. I think it's sad that they can't see all the awesome stuff going on in my head right now.Okay, I did get that boxset for X-mas. I'm reading Papertowns first, I'm about mid-way through.

And I the subject of books, every John Green book I've read has brought me to tears, twice in some cases.
Admittedly that's only Paper Towns, Will Grayson Will Grayson, and Lookiing for Alaska, but still.
And Hank is just made of pure win.
I watch Crash Course, also I've read Paper Towns.
Still reading Paper Towns, sadly not even John Green can speed up my reading.
Btw are they're any tropers on the nerdfighteria forums as well?
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comYou mean you want to know if there's any tropers in my pants?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Yes are they're any in my pants?
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comGood morning, Hank! It’s Thursday. Good to meet you all!
So I’m one of those (probably really rare) people who watches the Vlogbrothers’ videos obsessively—Crash Course and The Lizzie Bennet Diaries included—but *cough* actually didn’t really like John’s books (except The Fault In Our Stars, which had me crying). I don’t have anything against them; I just wasn’t enthralled by them, even though they’re wonderfully witty and quirky and philosophical. Am I the only one?
And sorry, I haven’t been on any nerdfighteria forums—perhaps oddly, since I’ve been a nerdfighter longer than a troper. I’m delighted to meet a few people who are both, since I have heaps of irl nerdfighter friends and absolutely no troper friends.

I’d sooner be eaten by Him than fed by anyone else.Only two of my irl friends know of TV tropes. They say that it's ruining my vocabulary.
I'd love to have more Nerdfighter friends, it's not that popular here.
@Jimmy Its quite a book.
I'm still reading paper towns but he once mentioned it always seems to be friday in his books. He wasn't kidding.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comFellow Nerdfighter here, and major troper lurker! So, those of you who have read TFIOS, how do yuo feel about the casting of Hazel? any fancasting for Augustus?
I still haven't read that one yet but I did just finish Paper Towns last week and I'm still absorbing the final few pages. Wow. I'll likely start TFIOS once I finish processing it.

I'll read one of John Green's books soon... I swear...
Any fellow Nerdfighters who are also tropers? I know I can't be the only one, after all Vlog Brothers has a page.
DFTBA!
