Okay; I think that it's about time to start the Prison Operation. If anyone has other ideas, feel free to let me know, but otherwise, we'll either wrap up the current storylines, or else put them in a position that can be continued after the Prison Op'. Is everyone okay with this?
Let me wrap up taking Red Cap in, and I'll be cool with it.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Yeah, sure.
Finally I have some free time for a few days
Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing- Wernher von Braun Until proven otherwise, Everything is RelevantKSPAM, if you're looking for something for Kali, Arguma was actually trying IC to try to get ahold of her so he could get her help working on finding where the robot lens pieces went.
Hello folks, I will hopefully be joining the game soon.
I've been trying to figure out Freefall's pre-existing relationships with the other supers before I start, seeing as everyone has been operating in the same city for a while before the game. She probably would be on at least speaking terms with most of the anti-regs, especially windrider, although I don't think she'd get along with lucunditas. It also seems like she could possibly have/develop something of a rivalry with Charity, considering how both similar and different they are. She'd be mostly suspicious of the other pro-regs, especially the ones who are/were soldiers or cops.
Anyway, once I work things out I'll probably time her entrance so she can notice the shit going down at the prison and investigate.

I'm still not sure where to bring Heavy Metal in. I have a sneaking suspicion she's kind of new at the superhero game, fresh out of school so to speak, so...that'll be my excuse if she does something goofy.
Easing back into life one step at a timeShe's registered, so she should know everyone already, right? Then... well... When All You Have Is a Hammer….... "Hey guys, sorry I missed the meeting, funny running into you, I was just on my way to get some shawarma"...

It's funny, because in my head she honestly does sound like a young female Tony Stark, which is...alarming as all get out. But yeah, basically her solution to everything at first is going to be "axe it till it stops being a problem." Probably NOT the best solution. I just so far am not sure exactly how/where to drop her in.
Easing back into life one step at a timeI've been contemplating the idea that the action at the prison would create enough of a commotion for those unregistered heroes who haven't yet been informed to show up in time for the festivities, if a little late due to travel times. Perhaps we could even have an overly-nosy intrepid reporter hovering overhead in a helicopter? Too far-fetched, do you think?
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsI think overly-inquisitive helicopter-bound reporters are a staple here It doesn't sound far-fetched to me.
Both posters above; good idea, and I have just the character in mind... (Players of the past RP may know him well...)
Are you sure? I mean, it's a bit of a stretch to do something like this-
<is killed messily for bad joke>
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)</dopeslap>
No more Gray Goo nanomachine scenarios, please.
Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three. You know, I originally mentioned Shawarma as a joke, but now that it's a real thing, how do we handle it? Do you want to make an NPC, 2k3ho?
First... what is Shawarma?
Fuck yeah, Middle-Eastern food!
Also, regarding Totemic's post in the main thread earlier: Does this mean that power-containment fields are a thing? Are they multi-purpose? This opens up so many possibilities.

GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsAh. Anyway, sure, I can play NPC's. Just show up the restaurant and we'll go from there.
Nman... shawarma. Really? Shawarma?
I love you XD

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialObviously they aren't portable, otherwise the police would deploy them instead of relying on other supers to capture problems, like the three staging the breakout. Gotta keep us relevant somehow.
They're just something based off a post the GM from the original RP made (in which she implied they or something like them existed, although they never got brought out). I figured, hey, we are dealing with a prison built to hold supers, something like this had to exist.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Doublepost, but I am playing with Failure Is the Only Option here. Either Robert turns down Matthew's request, or it fails to work somehow. Unless our GM wants me to miraculously cure Red Cap of chronic creepiness, I can wrap this up pretty quickly. (Just need kkhohoho to post, then me to make one more post.)
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Charity is also time-skip ready - no matter what Abu says she things he's adorable. :P
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - MediaSo's Abu, in that case. Expect quite a bit of flustered indignation from him—he still hasn't wrapped his mind around the whole "mouse-sized means no worshippers" business, which makes him the most fun character I've played in a while.
Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three. So, I mean, most of us could just write that our characters walk into the restaurant, since they're, you know, human - or at least human looking. It's just Abu who wouldn't be able to go inside without causing something to happen - and he just happens to be the character Wildcard's trying to make amends with/convince to get registered. So I guess I nominate you to handle the timeskip of going to the restaurant? Or the rats stay put and everyone else comes back later? I dunno.
Done with my mini-storyline and waiting for the counter-op. That is unless one of heroes down the street notices Lucunditas' car coming towards them and the massive wreck and bloodstains Isaac left behind and decides to follow him.
