This thread is for cleaning up pages that violate the No Lewdness, No Prudishness policy.
Do not use this thread for reporting pages that need to be cut for violating The Content Policy. Report pages that appear too lewd or gushy to have on the wiki using the "Report Page" button on the sidebar, with the checkbox saying "The page may violate the Content Policy" checked. That will create a thread on the Content Violation Discussions subforum
. The thread will be opened by a mod if the report is valid, and if it's deemed necessary, the page will be cleaned according to the Content Policy. (The list of pages that were deemed problematic can be found on The Content Policy's page.)
No Lewdness:
"Lewdness" is more than just being about something sexual or potentially sexual. Here are some signs of lewd writing:
- Personal opinions on hotness. Examples should stand on their own without the introduction of YMMV material. Adding your own thoughts and feelings on an example is an opinion, same as calling an example good or bad. Don't do it. Don't try and extend your feelings to a larger group of fans either, e.g. "...and fangirls everywhere rejoiced". You're not fooling anyone.
- Overly detailed examples. The example doesn't need to be an exact sensory account of the event. Too much of that and you end up sounding like you're writing porn. When in doubt, drop a few adjectives.
- Unrelated fanservice mentions. If the hot bits aren't related to the example, they don't belong in the example.
- Pornographic writing. If you're writing porn, it should be somewhere other than the wiki. Keep it Family Friendly.
- Titillation links. Tell, don't show. We don't need screen shots to illustrate NSFW fanservice. If a reader is really curious, they can go look it up on Google. (See also Weblinks Are Not Examples.)
- Pedo gushing. We don't need to describe children sexually. This should be cut immediately. We're not interested in hosting pedophilia fantasies. Period. If a work contains children having sex, even if portrayed negatively, report it as a potential violation of The Content Policy using the "Report Page" button◊ in the sidebar.
- Talking about actors instead of characters. An actor is not the character they play. When you're writing an example about a work, refer to the character, not the actor. This applies to non-sexual references, but too often it's tropers writing about how they find certain actors hot. That doesn't fit in character examples.
- Thinking a page with a Not Safe for Work subject is license to be lewd. Even when we discuss porn, we are about just stating the facts.
- Fanfic Recs for underage sex. We will not host any recommendation for fics that have explicit sex involving people apparently or actually younger than 16. Period. We categorically do not recommend fics with sex in which at least one participant:
- This applies even if all parties are underage.
No Prudishness:
- Don't cutlist or gut pages just because they're about sexual topics. Sex exists. It's used in media a lot. You'll just need to cope with that fact. Relationships, fanservice, and sexual activity all fall into their own tropes as a result.
- Don't be a Bluenose Bowdlerizer. We're not looking to censor all sex off the wiki. If the sex and sexuality is an honest part of the work and relevant to the example, it belongs there.
- The wiki is not rated G. We aren't sanitizing the wiki for small children. Sex and sexuality are part of media and we aren't going to ignore them. This wiki is Family Friendly, not Unsupervised Small Child Friendly. This isn't an excuse to make work pages dirtier than the work itself, as the above No Lewdness section makes clear, but neither is it an excuse to make those pages cleaner than the work itself.

Hello, I'm wondering if Uchi no Musume ni Te o Dasu na! could perhaps use some cleaning. From the description, it's not actually hentai, but the page (and subpages) sometimes seem to go into a bit more detail than necessary about the frequent sex. For example:
- Also, despite her feminine modesty, she isn't above initiating sex during a fight or taking advantage of her enemy's lust for her. "MILF of Steel" shows she could have easily freed herself while Heavy Metal was raping her, given how easily she crushed his spine. It ends with her flying away only mildly annoyed that his semen was leaking out of her.
- During chapters 9-11, Zenovia uses S&M style torture devices to reduce Artemis and Athena to being Sex Slaves. She even makes them wear leather bondage suits that each includes a dildo and butt plug harness.
Redmess
Labyrinth and its various subpages seem to put a bit too much focus on how sexy David Bowie is. I don't think there should be any innuendo in the main description, let alone the page quote. On top of all, this is a children's movie, and the overattention on Bowie's crotch seems a bit inappropriate.

Berserk Button: misusing Nightmare Fuel
The Jiggle Physics example on P.N.03 is kinda long and gives several video examples. This is going a bit too far, right?
- Jiggle Physics: Vanessa's infamously flabby butt almost never stops moving in game. When standing idle, she taps her foot, which causes it to twitch; it bounces heavily and wobbles a bit at the end of each step when she runs and it ripples and jiggles when she does her spin-back move; and several of her "Energy Drive" smart bomb dances make the jiggle obvious. During Thunderbird, her butt jiggles when she moves her hips from side to side. During Falcon, her butt jiggles at the end of the animation◊, which is very appearent in the game's ending credits because the camera zooms in on it. Also, during her level 1 automatic fire animation, both her thighs and buttocks jiggle.
Yeah... I think cutting it to just this would be fine:

That sounds good, although looking at those GIFs, I'd strike "flabby" as it's entirely the wrong descriptor.

I agree, which is why I rewrote it in a different way. "Flabby" is not an adjective that I associate with sexiness (unless maybe you're a Chubby Chaser) though I'm asexual so I don't know if that's correct.

According to dictionary.com... I think defintion #1 fits for flabby.

I noticed today Hostility on the Set had an "Adult Entertainment" folder added sometime between now and the last time I looked at the page (last summer, IIRC). It contains only a single "example" that isn't really explicit but should probably be cut anyway for being extremely generalized, but I'm mildly concerned about the fact that it was added at all.

So I checked out Funny.TV Tropes for old times' sake and one of the first things I see in the Fetish Fuel folder (yes, we still have some of that recorded as Funny Moments) is laughing at a remark someone made about Chris from Family Guy, categorizing him among "big dumb blond men with freakishly big dicks who are easy to manipulate."
Chris Griffin is at most fourteen years old. This is weird.

That bit aside, that section seems like straight up attempt at bypassing the removal of the entire tropetales space. And specifically doing the same thing that got it removed in the first place.
I'm going to ask for some mod opinions in ATT but I'm really itching to do at least a heavy trimming to it.

I asked about that whole Funny.TV Tropes page thing a while ago because it has entries for things like vandalism and just poses a risk of being Do Not Do This Cool Thing. Feel free to ask again. Many of those entries are no longer verifiable anyway.
Speaking of outdated "we're so funny" pages: Memes.TV Tropes has a weird section about a "loli rape bunker" meme that seems like it's both very old and not something we would describe on this wiki today.

IDK how to rewrite this entry in YMMV.Lyrical Nanoha:
- Contested Sequel: Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS caught flak for having a 10 year timeskip, thus losing most of the lolis. It moved the setting away from Earth and shifted focus from the previous main characters - demoting several to extras in the process - to a bunch of rookies and a lot more non-essential background characters. The Numbers cyborgs probably got the most heated debates among the fandom as to whether they were credible antagonists compared to the very powerful rivals from seasons one and two. They were also not as well-developed as previous antagonists, probably because there were so many of them. The third season was twice as long as previous seasons, but rather than using that extra time to develop its enormously expanded cast or give screentime to those characters inexplicably shoved out of the picture, the writers instead devoted most of the episodes to training the newbies and discussing military policies.

Um, do I have permission to remove this example on EyeScream.Anime And Manga? It's a bit more nauseating than most stuff I've seen on here...
- Angel Core. A 2 episode hentai OVA. There's this disturbing scene with some militia guys ready to torture and rape two girls. One of them takes a knife and gouges out the eye of one of them. In pain she begs them to give it back to her, but the soldier simply smash it with his boot and says "oops!". Not happy with that, one of them suddenly gets the idea of raping her through the empty and still bleeding eye socket. Thankfully, it didn't happen, thanks to the other girl begging for her.
