Villain? Oda Nobunaga. both of him.
Hero? Freakin' Dante.
Vega for villain. Both of em.
Zero for hero.

Villain: Dr. Weil. Honestly, this guy is one sick puppy.
Hero: Dante. The cool one, not that Edward-lookalike.
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.Hero: I heard of this man. Apparently he's pretty mega. A Mega Man, as it were.
Villain: LORD SADDLER! Your brain can't repel camp of this magnitude!
Villain? No contest. Wesker.
Hero? Frank West, with Dante a close second. Ditto on the OG, not the Edward lookalike.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyNo idea about villains, but Phoenix Wright is best hero.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.^ Well, he's definitely got some of the best games in any rate (granted, I've only played the first one - which was phenomenal, but not exactly big on Phoenix's characterization: the later ones might've fleshed him out more).
In any case, to answer the OP's question...
Gant, Vega (Claw), Gant, McNamara and Gant.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Dr. Weil is probably the greatest Capcom villain in my opinion - he sort of sticks out in my mind in a way the others don't. I'm tempted to say Dr. Wily instead, though, simply for getting the entire series started.
As for the greatest hero, well... it's a toss up between X (refreshingly different from the flood of grizzled anti-heroes that seem to be all the rage nowadays) and Zero (he's just obscenely cool).
Locking you up on radar since '09The third one finally gave him some focus.
Hero: One of the incarnations of Mega Man, or Phoenix Wright.
Villian: None of them do it for me.
Villian: Wesker
Hero: Ryu or Pheonix Wright

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEgVillain: Chakravartin. Doctor Weil is up there too, just for being so depraved.
Hero: Probably a toss up between Asura and Ammy.
Watch SymphogearYou know I was actually tempted to say Dr Weil the first time the "Greatest Nintendo Villan" thread popped up, but then I remembered his status. But now that you've raised this thread up? Hell yeah, definately him.
My vote for both goes to Firebrand.
Why? Because I can!
(Serious answer: too many choices to choose from)
visit my blog! No, he's not. Their profiles were made to be incredibly similar, but they are different characters. BBAMM was built by Doctor Light as a mining robot. Trigger wasn't built until well after everything from the Light Era was long since dead (a thousand or two years later, I think).
I was joking, god damnit. I thought that was obvious.
Watch SymphogearAnd so the inability for people to detect sarcasm over the internet causes another awkward forum post. WHEN WILL IT END!?
Hero: Ryu from Breath of Fire 3 or X.
Villain: Myria.

If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahHero: Tie between Zero and Dante. Zero, because of his selflessness, and the fact that he isn't brought down by any sort of ideal or constraints like Mega Man, X, or Trigger was, instead just fighting for what he believes in, leading to arguably one of the greatest Heroic Sacrifices in all of gaming. As for Dante, it's mainly his humour and laid-back personality, yet like Zero, he does truly care for others and fights for those he cares about, be it his mother or allies.
Villain: Tie between Weil and Wesker. The former due to his flat out evilness and overall history, and the latter for being not just one of the greatest Magnificent Bastards ever, but for being the biggest ham in gaming as well.
It was, since there was a pothole and everything.
I, at least, caught that it was a joke.
But as for the question.. as I said earlier, Capcom has so many kick-ass heroes and sinister villains that its hard to narrow it down. I mean just look at the Capcom Classics Collections and that's already too many heroes to choose from...
visit my blog!I got that it was a joke, too.
However, I like to respond to jokes in a completely straight manner.
Its kind of like my own personal joke.
Plus, what you said annoyed me and I would have no part of your tomfoolery.
Villain: Dr. Weil. Hands down. The sheer magnitude of his evil is unmatched by anything Capcom has ever come up with before or since.
Hero: I have to choose? Son of a—! Well... I'm biased towards Dante (the original, not Donte/DINO) and particular members of the (extended) Mega Man family... and Gene... and Ammy... and... (facedesk)
